BDS is more geared towards larger trucks but their quality isnāt terrible. For the right price Iād say go for it. Youāre getting 5100s so the ride will be a bit stiffer than stock but itās a good shock for the price.
Hydraulic dump trailer full of whatever was in my sisterās house when she moved out. Not sure what the weight was but it felt ok on the back of the diesel.
Itās about 50/50 from what Iāve seen. Living an hour from Los Angeles, Iāve seen my share. Most of it comes from the driver over correcting and thatās when the vehicle darts into oncoming traffic.
You donāt have to do any of that stuff. Just remove one of the screws from the tailgate and chase all your holes with that, then reinstall the screw and youāre set. I did all of my holes this way when installing my bed molle
If youāre referring to wheel spacers, yes you will be fine. My wifeās JLU has been on 1.5ā spacers and 37s on stock wheels since the first month we bought it. Just buy quality parts, use loctite, and torque them down properly then forget about them.
4.5ā lift with Rock Jock spacer. Got it for free, otherwise I probably wouldnāt have one. I just laid on my back and used my knee to hold up the DS while bolting the spacer in.
I did that for you. I thought it was unlocked when installing it and the hood latch broke into a bunch of pieces, bending the entire latch mechanism. No damage to hoot or fenders though šš»
RAM Dakota⦠if that isnāt an oxymoron I donāt know what is. Cute truck though but not on the JT level. Itās somewhere far down below with the Tacomas, Frontiers, Rangers and the like.
Per Mopar they are actually there to roll the window up for safari mode. Honestly it takes 30 seconds to remove the window and 3 minutes to put it back in. Iād never roll it up personally.
Not quite, it wouldnāt roll at all when letting off the brakes if hill assist was working. Definitely has nothing to do with the brakes but thatās the feeling I get. Like the front starts rolling and the back is stuck on stupid for a second.
You can pick your bypasses on Hells Revenge so you donāt do anything outside your comfort zone. Fins N Things is pretty much the same. Poison Spider is doable but youāll scrape the rear bumper everywhere. Onion Creek is a nice scenic out and back trail that runs through 26 river crossings...
I donāt get a clunk but I get something almost like Iām holding the rear brake for half a second after I let off the brake pedal. When Iām coming to a stop I can feel it every once in awhile, and probably half the time I release the brake pedal I roll out about a foot and I get that feeling. I...
Best thing you can do is find some cheap 4awg jumper cables off Amazon and cut the ends off. That gives you 25 feet of positive and negative back to the battery. I personally used Anderson connectors in the bed so I can unplug it if need be.
For reference, Iām at 4.5ā of lift with both front and rear stock driveshafts. I have a carrier bearing spacer, and I do not disconnect. When it breaks, Iāll put another stock one on it.
If you look hard enough you can see the GMC 6.6 liter V8 with 2.9 whipple under the hood. Belongs to JK Life Adventures and Outfitting. They have a Facebook page but I donāt have social media.
