@JeepCares
Thank you for your prompt reply.
What is considered an early build Gladiator, and a new build? Mine was built in the month of September...I would think that would be considered new.
So I just got back from the dealership from getting my tonneau cover replaced (it came messed up from the factory), and I had asked them to look into as to why I do not have the Selectable Tire-Fill Alert feature. They came back and said that was an optional feature, and that my fully loaded...
That's so weird...I ordered on 4/27, and picked it up on 9/28. Fully loaded Rubicon, but it's not listed on my sticker. In fact your sticker has many more line items under Standard Equipment.
I guessing/hoping that it's a OTA update, or at the very least a flash upgrade for the stereo.
For some reason I thought the box would be about a 1/3 of that! Does anyone know how heavy it is? I don't need actual weight, but how hard it is to get out of the truck and maneuver around?
Since it's fall I was just going to leave the soft top in the box until next spring...
So I am thinking about purchasing the N-FAB Nerf Steps | J1980T as they would get used most days. My only concern is the one or two times I would off road and possibly damaging the steps doing so. I was thinking about removing the N-FAB Nerf Steps, and reinstalling the rock rails that come...
I just contact the Jeep Chat once a week. The dealership did call me for the first time 2 weeks ago to let me know they have a delivery date of 9/12 which is false because I am still in D1 status if Jeep Chat has the latest info.
Trust me, I am patient.
I didn't make any deal with them other than telling them yes I would like to order what is on the build sheet, and that they will at the very least honor my affiliate pricing. I'm not trying to bamboozle anyone...it's just negotiating.
We still have to work out the final trade in value for...
I'm going to use in my negotiation. I've waited this long....I will walk away if they don't want to play ball.
I was the first one to order a non LE from them, plus I know I gave them a couple of sales once I posted about them honoring affiliate pricing.
Ordered on 4/27
D Status = 5/13
D1 Status = 8/26
Dealer says it is scheduled to be built next week 9/9
The dealer also has a delivery date of 9/12 which I know isn't happening.
Seems like a lot folks on here have been given a build week of 9/9 so maybe that is encouraging.
Tired of waiting...
I asked the dealer for a quote for the 2" Mopar lift, and wheels and 35's. I asked if I could trade in my stock wheels once my Gladiator arrives, and they told me that I would have to sell the stock wheels and tires on my own. Not really the answer I was looking for, but oh well.
Thanks...I was just trying to see if I could save a little dough by not having to by wheels. That was such a silly though...I know darn well that I should just do it the right way.
