  1. NPS cancels AWD vehichles ( probably always has). I agree with concept but not their verbiage . #Read

Good question; I was just watching an episode where he pulled out a hybrid minivan, but not exactly a good comparison. I have friends who work in rural CO fire departments and they are terrified of EVs. When they catch on fire, they burn hot and long and are difficult to suppress. There is...
  2. NPS cancels AWD vehichles ( probably always has). I agree with concept but not their verbiage . #Read

3 motors would theoretically give them a similar capability to a 4x4 with rear locker, but no front.
  3. 3.5" lift on 35's photos if you have a lift or something close.

Before and after. Just went wheeling with the new setup today. It made my standard trail a cake walk. FYI this is the JKS 3" Lift kit, which actually levels the truck. I added a 1.38" rear coil spacer to put the rake back in, and Sumo Bump Stops in the back to help carry weight when the truck...
  4. NPS cancels AWD vehichles ( probably always has). I agree with concept but not their verbiage . #Read

We have these signs up all over the county. They seem to work, as I very rarely see any vehicles attempting these roads that should not be.
  5. Lack of power at high elevation while climbing steep sections.. (23 Gladiator)

I live in Clear Creek County, and am routinely at 12-13,500. Driving at 14k is pretty rare other than Mt Blue Sky (Evans) and Pikes Peak. I drive to Blue Sky in 2wd with no issues, at 14k. But, yes, 4LO will pretty much take care of any issues.
  6. Topo Toppers Pop-up Camper Shell Installed

As someone who eyes this with a target of maybe, next summer, can anyone comment on the GFC issues mentioned in this thread? My understanding was that they were pretty high quality. Have they just gotten too expensive due to demand (and other options are just as good at a lower price?). Any...
  7. Falken Wildpeak wear issue?

Dang, my tires at 35k (Falken MTs) looked WAY more worn than you guys. But, I'm probably 50/50 off-road. Also, I had weird wear patterns. I just got a lift with new shocks, and the shop guys said my old shocks were completely blown (Rubicon Fox), which can lead to uneven wear and cupping. So...
  8. EBay - Generic OEM style Stubby Bumper - Thoughts?

I was JUST reading an old thread from the early days of the Gladiator (on this forum) and they discussed that the plastic bumper came with a plastic air dam, not a steel skid plate. But, I have a 2020, with a plastic bumper, and it has the steel skid plate. So I think early on there was some...
  9. 3.5" lift on 35's photos if you have a lift or something close.

oh definitely. I was thinking you had this and were still concerned.
  10. 3.5" lift on 35's photos if you have a lift or something close.

Iirc, there are some threads of people saying you can carry a 38 if you are aired down. So, presuming you have some kind of on board air option, you could keep the spare at like 12 and fit it.
  11. 3.5" lift on 35's photos if you have a lift or something close.

Currently sitting at the shop, waiting on shocks to come in but lift and tires on. JKS 3" lift with 35" tires. Personally I think the 37s look stuffed on 3" and like the spacing of 3" with 35s.
  12. How to lock down factory roller cover?

I was just on a river trip with a big group and they asked about locking my Tonneau (factory). I told them wellllll no, we can't. But I said let me lock it and you tell me what you think. So I locked the truck and said open it. All of them tried and said "its locked." WE all know that you just...
  13. Anyone have to replace their steering box again since the TSP? Second one after the steel one only 30k miles....

I have the TSP box and it fixed my problem. But in hindsight I wonder if the primary fix is tightening that adjustment, which they probably did by default during the switch from aluminum to steel. There’s a YouTube video on how to do it in another one of these threads. Those of you with...
  14. is it a rubicon without the rubicon sticker across the hood?

Oh I've seen plenty, but only if they replaced it with their own jeep name.
  15. 4:1 Rock-Trac Full Time 4WD System

I have a 2020 and the option didn't exist. But if I were doing it again, 100% I would get the 4HI Auto option, specifically FOR the CV joints. Crow hop in this thing drives me nuts. In terms of the actual road conditions, I drove with a stick for years and it just feels right to have my hand on...
  16. 2028 Jeep Gladiator Article - Interesting Details and Concept Art

So... a Rivian? It's already out. I do think the replacement for our VW Golf will be the Rivian R3X. https://insideevs.com/reviews/719346/rivian-r3x-price-range-specs/
  17. Banks Pedal Monster or Pedal Commander for my 21 Gas Gladiator?

I have an auto, but I bought the banks specifically to get rid of throttle lag. I actually have it set super low, like level 3 of 27, and it does exactly that. Works great. I can't imagine who is running this thing in track mode...
  18. Anybody on here? JT stops high speed chase

See honey! Did you feel that?! I told you Death Wobble was a real thing.
  19. My 70k eco diesel bottoms out... Jeep "Sorry we can't do anything!?"

Someone else already mentioned it but you could go with Sumo Bumpstops. When you say you are bottoming out, you're feeling it hit the bump stops. Sumo makes the bump stop engagement smooth/comfortable. Front: https://www.superspringsinternational.com/product/ssf-402-54/ Rear...
