Full width for the win! I like stubby for crawling and approach functionality. I prefer fender protection these days as my crawling days were left long ago. More of an overland build.
ARB Bondi
I’m running rubicon springs in front and kept my max tow springs in rear. I’m also running 1.5” spacer in front with a full size bumper and winch.
Great write up and some good tips.
I have ARB sitting in my garage. With this kit there are extensive modifications (cutting) to the air box.
Does the Mopar or AEV require air box surgery?
What a fun project. Installing bolt ons on a brand new vehicle is so much nicer than my first Jeep 86 CJ7 with some fine rust belt character.
Last night I finished installing Rubi fenders with LEDs.
I only have three parts left in Garage to install.
1) Fox steering stabilizer
2) ARB Safari...
Guess this a bit of hybrid, but ultimately 100% aligned in keeping geometry as stock as possible.
I simply added Rubi Shocks (4 corners) and Springs (front only) along with adding a 1.5” TeraFlex spacer to the front. My Rubi fenders should arrive on Monday too. Not going any higher!
running...
Curious if anyone is running these?
If so how is the step for daily use?
I worry about having to drill into my tub to mount these - do you hold these concerns?
Close up pics would be great.
Finally got my ARB Solis wired up. The job was a bit beyond my skill set.
that said, what a fantastic product. With the adjustable light output options you can run these quite dim to blinding.
mom installing the orange covers so I’ll be able to use these in rain, snow and fog (Milwaukee...
ARB Safari Snorkel inbound. Or As my youngest daughter calls snorkels (the swimming kind) a gurgle kit.
plus found a shop to hook up my Solis lights (I was a bit intimidated by the harness).
future things possible to come in mail. ARB rear bumper and bed guards and I’m really interested in...
I thought this would be easiest install I could possibly attempt. A few screws and I’m good right?
short story is all the holes are visible but there is what I’d call overspray that is impeding the screws ability to cleanly thread to secure the bed rails.
how the heck do I remove just enough...
Hi Kurt
Kept the ARB theme going with their Safari snorkel.
I was so worried that I bought a battleship looking item. But once installed I don’t see how it could be any tighter and comfortably hold a 10k winch. Plus I think it looks perfect (meaning not too big and fits the vehicle)
I should...
should be a valid concern. Good thing is I don’t really tow and Wisconsin isn’t the warmest of climates.
I’ll absolutely need to keep an eye on it. I was really drawn to the Solis lights and wanted to give them a try.
here is a light of day pic.
update at 11:41. Just before midnight.
Workspace is clean. Everything installed.
Looking forward to my Warn Epic hook inbound tomorrow and snorkel next weekend.
Going to be a long night still as I want to get the lights mounted and winch wired in (easy). Plus clean up my mess.
I’ll wire the ARB lights another day.
got the winch and ARB Bondi installed. Will have the Solis lights mounted and clean up my work space before midnight!
Now if Mopar could...
Very exciting day! Thank you Dessert Rat! Great communication and you expedited my order so fast.
one of the only ARB Bondi deluxe bumpers not on back order just arrive via freight.
