  1. Building my own flush tail lights

Reprinted the lens where it would match the lens on the light.... To me it looks 1,000 times better! And why yes I did smoke it too

  3. Building my own flush tail lights

Alright, so I have 3 p1p's and 1 x1c. My x1c has the "ams" automatic material system. I could have 4 different color filaments in it or 4 different kinds of filaments and it will print whatever filament you want it to print with. I mainly use the x1c with the ams whenever I'm at work and get a...
  4. Building my own flush tail lights

I like these!!! I'm waiting for some other style LEDs to come in to test... Also I need to do a few design changes so I can make a deeper pocket for the LEDs to hide them.
  5. Building my own flush tail lights

I'm having fun at the moment... The easiest to produce are the first version.... But now getting blind spot detection involved changes everything for me..... First version will be in production soon.... Just not sure if I'll be able to offer blind spot compatibility immediately. Can't use...
  6. Building my own flush tail lights

  10. Building my own flush tail lights

Lol, ummmm probably could have built a plastic house by now with all the plastic I have thrown away.... I have probably thrown away almost 100 tail lights lol.... With the original version, anyone can replace the lights.... $73 on Amazon... And corner lights. So definitely not too bad ..

  12. Building my own flush tail lights

For blind spot detection on original design, I have to figure out a side marker for it ...... I need ideas.....
  13. Building my own flush tail lights

As for version 1...... Well there's no reflectors at all lol...
  14. Building my own flush tail lights

Depending which way I print the lens, they are reflective..... In fact more reflective then oracles lights..... But I can still promise you, these will not be DOT approved.... I am not a company and don't have the funds to put tail lights through DOT testing. These lights will be sold as off...
  15. Building my own flush tail lights

I like your idea, for me personally that's too much red. My plan is to have the running , brake, and turn all on the perimeter. I'd rather have a nice output on the reverse so I can see everything backing up.... But that's me.... If I like this design and others do, I can change out the...
  16. Building my own flush tail lights

    Probably do this.
  17. Building my own flush tail lights

The reverse light will have a total of 144 LEDs in the center .... That's three rows of 48 side by side.... I think that should give a pretty bright reverse light... Worse case scenario I could design a rear fog light into the center for high brightness.
  18. Building my own flush tail lights

So when you hit the turn signal, the light will start in the inside center and wrap around to out side center...... Does everyone think that will be the best?
