I take my soft top through the touchless only auto washes all the time, but
I would never risk taking a chance with one of those brushes. They're too damn violent.
I still have all 4 of my oil changes, plus my dealer gave me two free changes.
Problem is I live pretty far from my dealer, and I actually enjoy changing the oil myself!
I guess I'll wait until my inspection is due to cash in one of the free changes.

I'm from Western PA, so we're starting at the beginning of the trail in WV, and planning to to go as far as the Smokey mountains in TN.

I've experienced it just stopping when you open the door, not actually going into park, and the gear selector flashes. I've never had mine just slam into park, it's more like neutral.
I do know if the doors are off, and you disconnect your seatbelt, it will kill the throttle if you're already...

Problem solved... I removed the doors.
But I still tell not to slam it. That gets a one finger salute every time. But no slammed door
I've always been a fan of Nitto Terra Grapplers. I've been able to put almost 50K miles on each set I've owned over the years.
The one issue I've encountered with Nitto's after about 3/4 life they start to really wonder on the highway, to the point they used to make my JK dart all over...
I have the factory soft top, and have no leak issues, other than the poor rain channel design that pours water on you when you open the door.
My JK had terrible leaks around the front door top corner. Had to remove my carpet permanently and leave the plugs out. Ended up adding a foam tape...
