I am thinking the JTR should be able to tow 20 foot trailer at GVR of 6k lbs and a dry weight of 4K lbs, with a hitch Wieght of 500 lbs (With leveling hitch) with 2 people in the truck. I don’t believe i will put more than 1k lbs in the trailer since i will not tow with water till i get close...

Just to clarify , so lets say truck GVWR is 6000 lbs, and Trailer is 6000 lbs, as long as your under the total of 12k lbs , say at 10k, your fine? Did i get it right? Thanks!

I am mainly thinking of the new diesel with the 6k GVWR and people thinking since it is a diesel they can tow more than that. Understand it can but with the liability and insurance i was going to stay under it to tow a 19 foot trailer but wanted to get other opinions. Thanks guys!

Do any of worry about towing above the GVWR of the Jeep if the trailer is above the weight? Jeep can tow 7650 but trailer is 8500 lbs? Insurance and liability ?

Any idea if this will get in the way of the front trail Camera?

I did not realize that mopar had a 2.5 inch lift for the Gladiator? Can you send me info on it? I need the same one. Will it level off the front or will it still have a slight slope down from the rear?
