It actually looks pretty good. If I didn't know about the taillight surrounds (and like that look even better) I'd be perfectly satisfied. As somebody else posted a while ago, the tailgate stripe gives the rear end some needed "heft".
Looks great! How did you get it to set correctly with all the angles and curves?
I got the kit on Etsy, and had no problem putting the tailgate part on, but I could not figure out how to get the part around the taillights to go on properly. Ended up ruining the vinyl piece for the right side...
Just installed my front and rear roll bar/grab handle pieces and the left and right rear-seatback panels. Excellent quality materials! I haven't had a chance to start hanging things on them yet (too cold to stand around outside contemplating and fiddling with things...), but looking forward to...
I'm afraid that's incorrect. I have the Mopar lift and Nitto Ridge grappler 37-R17-12.5s, installed by the dealer when I ordered my Overland, and there is absolutely no problem with them on or off road.
Cover to cover. Right away. Maybe, as somebody else said, it's just an old Army habit, but I've found with every vehicle manual that when I read the thing all the way through I find at least one thing that makes go "whoa! I had no idea it did that!"
I installed the KC rock light kit a while ago, using the KC install instructions which has each of the six lights wired individually to a bus bar under the hood, and I connected that to an aux switch. I attached the lights to the frame using magnets. Now I’d like to have the four side lights...
I had the dealer install the Mopar lift on my Overland (along with 37s) before I ever saw the truck - ordered it all at the same time. I’ll admit two important factors in that decision:
1) I was new to the whole Jeep off-road thing and totally ignorant about lift kits, and
2) The dealer told me...
The color is the same all the way through, and the poly cuts very smoothly (at least on my drill press). They make the panels in more than 30 different sizes and shapes - from very small to quite large - but if they don't have a size that works for you, you could easily cut it and shape it with...
Took advantage of Built Right's annual sale to complete the MOLLE panel coverage with the bed-side panels, and shifted my farm jack to the side from the front to free up some "extra" length in the bed.
Then I added some Grey Man Tactical rigid MOLLE panels to the interior sides of my bed rack...
Been thinking about using those for ditch lights, but wondered whether they might look a little under scale when mounted on the hood/cowl/a-pillar. Could you post a photo from further away that shows the whole front end, to give better impression of scale? Much obliged!
Looks like Jeep didn't even compete:
Army Receives First Infantry Squad Vehicles for Carrying Foot Soldiers into the Fight
The ISV, made by GM Defense and its partner Ricardo Defense, is the latest Army effort to equip troops with modernized...
It
It would be enough to equip 15 battalions of light infantry. That's very roughly about 2 divisions, and there isn't very much light infantry in the Army anymore. Mechanized infantry won't have much use for them outside of headquarters and support units. My guess is that some will go to...
GM just won the contract, with a vehicle based on the Colorado. Jeep won't be going back into the armed forces anytime soon.
