Honestly not sure. I do know I want to get the 270 degree awning at some point. It sounds like maybe that's better for a rack on the bed
Maybe a smaller awning for now would be good. But the rack needs to be easy to take on and off so I can use the safari roof things for the 3 piece hard top...
I am picking up a new Gladiator rubicon soon. I don’t plan on doing many performance things, at least not for a while. For now, I want to do smaller things like swap out headlights for LED, get nice floor mats, etc.
The relatively big things I do want sooner than later is a rack for the roof...
New JT owner (rather will be Friday).
Wanted to know where are some good places online to shop for parts.
I got a Rubicon and am good with lift and shocks and all that. Will drive for a while before any real add-ons.
I do need floor mats and want to swap halogens out for LEDs
Not sure if it counts but I bought one. First vehicle I ever bought, first jeep I've ever owned.
22' Rubicon. Got an awesome deal. 57500 down to 52 plus 300 for bedliner addition (dealer split the 600 cost) and 2700 10yr/75k warranty. 60k after taxes.
After talking to a ton of dealers all...
I’m hoping the latter part is true because here in Westchester county, NY, they’re telling me the “deal” is MSRP because “we’re selling these 3k over MSRP”
meanwhile, the same 11 gladiators have been there the past month…
Fortunately I’m not in a rush and will extend my search in the coming...
noted however I do want to take this camping and over landing in a year or so and slowly add things overtime.By the time I have what I want on it, it’ll be time to turn it in on lease and I’d have to take it all off.
we also keep cars for a while. I saw Fulton had a good price on Mojave with...
Well the salesman who was talking up this deal never came back so I may just put it off another month for when we break ground on the new garage. I’m in no rush.
My thinking with his deal is that the mojave, standard, comes pretty well equipped. It has that lift and aggressive look and nice...
Found a mojave for 50k with only extra being Automatic TransmIssion. Would still want cash off because that’s just MSRP price. But at 47/48, it’s somewhat tempting.
So I found a Mojave in the color I like with AT for $50k. It has No extras. If I can talk them down to 48k, I may pull the trigger. LEDs I can install after and from what I understand, is not a very tough install.
My question is regarding hard top. I don’t think it has that 3 fold freedom top...
There’s a dealer near me with a rubicon for $58k. They have 7 rubicons, 1 Mojave, 1 Willy, 2 altitude.
Another Dealer 20m away has 2x Mojave, 2x overland, 3x rubicon, 3x sport, 8x willy
There’s ones about an hour away, where each dealer (4 dealers) have at least 5 rubicon’s each.
End of month...
Wow they have some solid discounts/rebates. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of that blue color. I’m in NY, hoping dealers wake up next week to what I want. There’s a rubicon in sting grey for 58k. I told them I’ll do 50k before taxes. It’s sat there for quite a while in addition to the other 11 they...
Sorry that’s in general. Closest to me has about 5 rubicons and 1 Mojave. One I went to today, which is about 20 minutes away has 4 rubicons and 1 Mojave, another an hour north has 40 total. I forget amount of rubicons and Mojave’s.
There is one I’m tempted to push on. I did talk to the guy...
Quick update: test drove Mojave. I like it on par with rubiCon. Didn’t noticed a major difference in the ride. The interior is less crazy but also nice. I’m thinking either will do for the right price. Currently there’s a sting gray rubicon for $58. I told them $50k before taxes so well see what...
Appreciate all the responses and everyones been super helpful. I think I have a good idea of where I need to zone in on: Mojave or a sport s/Willy’s and add a lift/LED lights.
I don’t tow which sounds like it’ll help me in this a bit.
While defender is significantly more expensive, its...
