I'm running 37s on stock 3.73s. No complaints for my type of driving as a daily driver. Have taken long road trips out to California to visit family without issue
You'll find a lot of discussion on this topic
Following on this, as an alterative to the Sunrider and potential problems with it (see ShadowsPapa). I know, many haven't had any problems with their earlier year JTs. I have always liked the Sunrider, but I do like the lower profile it presents when opened and am wondering how it is with noise...
I believe by adjusting for actual tire size (I used Jscan) like I did when I went from 35s to 37s I feel the PCM readjusted the tranny shift points to compensate for the larger size. Runs and shifts fine on mine.
Looks good. I replaced the rock rails on my JT with these factory side steps as well. We like them best because we aren't limited to where you can put your foot to get in and the dog uses them to get in too! Mine is simply a DD so I do not have any need for rock rails - more comfort for us...
I've run quality spacers an my JT with 35" tires and the old WK I had. Currently running them on my wife's 2015 WK2 since new. Never had an issue with them. My purpose was to achieve amore aggressive stance like you mentioned.
To me the Teraflex spacer lift & the larger tires sounds perfect...
I would say no. You're only at a 33" tire there would be ne real need to regear. You will find people consider regearing when they get up in tire size, 35" & 37" are pretty typical tire size upgrades. I'm still running my stock gear set with 37" tires. Mine, like yours, is a daily driver and...
Agreed. Once I get them out it's hard to get them back in without bending a pin. You don't know until you try to unlock the doors or adjust the passenger mirror from the driver's side.
I'm experiencing this and will, at some point take the connector off and inspect the pins. Come on, man
Agreed. Its a daily driver EV, so it fits the niche and its a Jeep, which is a big plus for me. Saw some renderings on the Jeep Recon forums with a small lift, 35s and flares. NICE.
Similar to how I felt about the JTs when they first hit the dealerships. It was cool to finally see one live...
Mine is my primary daily driver and am running the Mopar 2" lift on 37s with no complaints. We have even taken a long road trip from Nebraska to San Diego and back and it road great.
Sounds like a short arm lift would suit you just fine. Let us know what you decide and post pics when you get...
Man, those look aggressive AF. As long as you have some siping on the lugs, they should do "OK" in snow & ice. Did you stay with the 37s or go with the "tiny bump" up in size?
I've run the Falken AT3Ws on my JKU and now my JT. Although I have been perfectly happy with the Falkens, I think I'm going to try the MT Baja Boss tires next time. Snow rated AT and a little more aggressive.
Hey, how's it going?
I'm running 37 x 12.5 x 18" Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. My lift is a 2" Mopar, but actual net lift height is closer to 3.5" on my JT Sport S.
