The biggest thing that bothered me was the key popping out all the time. I started out using rubber bands but they never lasted very long before they broke. So I duct taped it and so fare it seems to be holding up. Charcoal lighter fluid works good on tape glue without damaging plastic.
How about some advice? You have monster tires on your JT so I assume you have a Tazer or Superchips to set it up with. Mine has 36" tires and a lift. It seems to me that more than the tire size needs to be set considering changing tire size also changes gear ratio and what about the transfer...
Tried it today on a 200 mile trip. It braked or decelerated a couple times on parked or disabled cars on the freeway. I'm a bus driver and don't follow anyone close by habit, so I switched to regular cruise.
Got a Rough Country stabilizer and boot from E-Bay. I was going to put it on the JL after I got my free one from the
dealer, so I put it on the Gladiator. Seems like the same thing under there.
