Did they actually charge that much to mount the spare? I know each DT is different but mine rotates tires for free even if you didn’t buy from them.. They have also patched a tire of mine for free without buying the tire there. Perhaps I’ve just been lucky with them, but so far all great...

This would not concern me one bit. My gladiator is the cheapest vehicle insurance I have by a long shot. If the “rarity” of the diesel were an issue or concern, I don’t think it’d be so cheap to insure.

If this is based off what you see on these forums it’s not a good representation of the total amount of diesel jeeps on the road. Naturally, people come to forums for help when they have issues, so it inherently seems like everyone’s having issues.
