Rain gear is the best one. Mine was on in 40mph thunderstorm and it was fine. My coworker had a thin amazon one and had to run out and adjust it. The only negative to the rain gear is its more bulky than some of the others.
Its definitely not a problem only jeeps have. It seems common on hoods on most cars, but it happens everywhere on the jeeps. I think thats why people make a bigger deal about it. Plus if its out of warranty it can cost as much as the trade value on some jeeps if its bad enough.
Well glad to hear people are having good luck with it. I reached out to the place i bought it hopefully itll work out. I was planning on keeping this a few more years.
I have a 21 jt with a build date if 08/20. I am coming up on my corrosion warranty, so i check every couple months for corrosion. Over the winter some popped up. One hinge has a decent chip. The other corrosion is a couple small bubbles above a hinge on the rr door, some very small bubbles on...
I have a 21 overland 3.6 auto with stock lsd 3.73. Im about 99% sure the rear differential is bad. Its had a hum that progressively got worse and i had a decent amount of fine metal my last diff fluid change. It now is very loud. Just curious when other people have had this repair, does the...
I'm looking for a set of tube doors. Either mopar or another decent brand. I might just end up buying a new set, but figured I'd see if anyone is trying to get rid of some first.
Mines a overland, so I think they are pretty similar shocks. I had a front that was leaking and my back two were definitely shot. They definitely don't seem to be good quality. I have bilstein 5100s and it's a much better ride.
Might be good to check the torque on everything. I tightened everything the way I felt was good, but when I went over it all with the torque wrench some stuff got a few more turns out of it. There is definitely a lot of spots for things to be off with the lift, I was surprised how well it drove...
I installed my lift last weekend. My JT was stock for 75k miles. I have an upgraded stabilizer, so I never got death wobble. Usually the wheels would bounce a few times pretty good over every bump on the highway. When installing the lift I found one of my front shocks had leaked. It wasnt...
Perfect thank you. The clamp on mine looks like it'll break if I tighten it too much so I'm ordering a new one. I just didn't want to have it apart and learn I need more stuff.
