Disconnecting that aux battery is the best thing I ever did for my truck. That stupid thing is nothing but trouble waiting to happen.
Now if I could only get the evap emissions warning sorted out without having to leave my truck at the dealer’s for 3 - 5 days I’d be happy. Sick of staring at a...
I don’t know where you are, and I would normally agree but flash floods are definitely a thing around here. I had to get on top of a ridge last year and wait one out while my wife and I were out screwing around in a wash when it started raining. I pulled up to the high ground and we just sat and...
I’m now having the exact thing on my 2020 with 46k miles. The dealer wants me to drop it off for anywhere from 3-5 days before they can even look at it. Ridiculous! It’s my only vehicle, the wife doesn’t drive and dealer has no loaners so that’s not really a viable option for me.
I have almost the exact set up on my Rubi - 2” Mopar lift and 35” Geolandar MT’s - with zero issues, so I’m as confused as you.
Mine shifts fine on the highway, with the speedometer being a couple miles under true speed according to those automated radar speed check devices.
I actually feel lucky it took me so long. I went around 45k with just a tiny chip till i finally got a real crack. it’s not right in my line of sight so I’m not even going to bother getting it fixed unless it gets worse.
Ok, so basically all you’re doing is disconnecting the aux from the system in a way so as not to throw a code and as a consequence prevents the shitty aux from draining the main?
Well that makes more sense now. I was under the impression it was a way to keep the ESS from working in the first place.
So I followed the directions in multiple threads - most of which you e participated in. I’ve done nothing to it and obviously don’t fully understand the process or I wouldn’t be asking. So again, my question is: is it possible for it to work without the F42 fuse and the terminal disconnected?
Ok, this is a weird one. I disabled it more than a year ago but now all of a sudden it’s started intermittently working again on its on.
Can anybody tell me how that’s even possible with the fuse pulled and the battery terminal disconnected?
