The guys who came up with this “premium“ label for high octane fuel were geniuses. People have been throwing money away ever since to get it. Most really believing it to be some magical fluid that gives them more power, more mileage, makes their vehicles run “better” - whatever that means.
Hell...
That used one is a nice looking truck but price seems awfully high for the mileage. You could get a new one for not much more, unless they’re willing to negotiate that down considerably. . . Just my opinion.
Edited to add that they both seem overpriced. Just looked at the new one.
I bought mine configured exactly as I wanted with 8K miles on the odometer. It was immaculate inside and out and you couldn’t tell the difference between it and one on the showroom floor aside from a broken visor which is very common among gladiators.
46k isn’t that much mileage. I would...
What really blows my mind is that I could find no Badge Of Honor trails in New Mexico. We have miles and miles of awesome public trails in this state literally minutes from my door. Yet I couldn’t find even one in the entire state on the list. . . .
I guess I should add that I wheel it every day - I have miles and miles of trails two mins from my door - on rough desert trails, and on my second set of 35’s with a two inch Mopar lift. I love this truck more than anything else I’ve ever driven…
37k and aside from a loose brake caliper bolt that fell out at around the 9k mark and the weak sun visor mounts that I reinforced with an aftermarket fix, no complaints at all.
They are my favorite MT’s by far. I wheel every day but I also do a lot of highway traveling because my son and grandsons live in Minnesota. Haven’t found an Mt yet that can compete with the Geolandars.
Having said that this time around I decided to go with the Geolandars XT’s only because I’ve...
Took it to Big-O this morning and ordered a new set of Yokohama Geolandar MT’s, because I ran over a creosote bush yesterday the size of a redwood. Put a giant chunk of lumber through the sidewall of my driver side rear. Lucky for me it’s acting like a plug and holding pressure pretty good. Only...
I love old school Defenders also, but it’s nice to have all the doodads and creature comforts. I hope you guys have luck with it and many miles of enjoyment.
It’s always a crap shoot when you buy a new vehicle. Forget the naysayers. Don’t fret over it. Just Drive it and enjoy it. If it turns...
I’m glad it was you guys who found them and not some others who unfortunately don’t have the same appreciation for our wild resources. Can’t tell you how many empty, plastic worm canisters and garbage I’ve had to pick up and pack out of the fly fishing only sections on the Dead River.
Warden...
You should’ve kept going north - hint - hint. . . .
I used to fish below the dams in Bingham/Solon. Almost got myself killed trying to wade there too when I shouldn’t have during a major water release…
Spent a lot of time on the Golden Road and thereabouts looking for trout and birds. The...
