That sounds to me like the steering box TSB.. Dealer should know about it.. They replace the aluminum box with what I understand is an iron/steel box. I am waiting on parts for mine. It's been 2 weeks now since diagnosis.

I've had the same problem on two separate occasions (which ended up being two separate problems) Initially it was the FAD Actuator itself, it was making intermittent noise.. Then the second time it was the wires that led to the FAD.. Again making noise. They replaced the actuator under warranty...
