Yes, you are correct, I was commenting more on the overall general spirit of his text, that no Gladiator is really going to be good highway vehicle, they suffer from wind noise with the doors and roof, the vehicle will be tiring to drive compared to the OP's current vehicles, ignoring people who...
I realize this is a '21 post but I had to comment on your comments, which were dead on. My '21 Sport S wears me out a bit on the highway after a few hours, and my wife hates it. I'm thinking of trading up to a Mojave since prices have dropped so much, but I'm going take a beating on my trade in...
I know, two months ago the KBB trade in value on my JT was $41K something, around there, and now it is $10K less. Boy, to not have a Jeep to trade in for a Jeep would be sweet. Here in the St. Louis area they have the Mojave's marked down $13K-$16K off sticker and more in some cases.
I have a '21 JT, Sport S. Thinking of trading it in on a '23 Mojave JT since I have read so much about how the Mojave is supposed to be the smoothest riding JT. Has anyone had both a Sport S and a Mojave and can confirm for me is a Mojave that much a smoother ride to make it worth the switch?
I'm a tad confused about timeframes for changing the diff. fluid on my JT and which oil to use. It seems the owner's manual doesn't even recommend changing the diff. fluids at all. I know that's not the best maintenance advice though. I have a '21 JT, Sport S, Dana 44's, 3.73 axle, 8 speed...
In the St. Louis area Gladiators (2023) are drastically reduced in price. $57K, $58K Gladiators are going for $11K, $12K even $13K off. There are unbelievable deals out there. I would love to trade in my '21 JT but I would take such a hit on the trade it wouldn't be worth it. I would need to...
I agree it is definitely regional. In the St. Louis area, especially in the suburbs west of downtown, Wranglers are huge. I probably see 40 Wranglers to 1 Gladiator, if not higher. My local jeep dealer, two blocks from my house, just got in a shipment of over 40 new Wranglers, 36 of them are the...
When you undo the bolts and pull back the Sunrider top, does it mess with those little Z clips that were kind of a pain in the rear to hook up? Thanks.
Other than my new tires and wheels, the Bestop Sunrider top is without a doubt the best item I have ever purchased for my Gladiator. It is a wonderful product. I open and close my top dozens of times a week. It stays on year round, even the winter. It takes about 3 seconds to either open or...
Great, thanks, that's what I wanted to know if you can slip your hand under the hood and unlock the latch. One of the reviews online a guy was doing it with the front grill off so I think that is why he was able to do it.
Yeah I would probably just use some bolts to attach it, I have enough...
Has anyone had experience with the hood lock system that you stick the key through the front grill to lock and unlock it? Bolt, Malker, and Furyengraver are a few of the companies selling them on Amazon. A few posts in the customer reviews mentioned that you can still slide you hand under the...
Great, thanks for the info. Do you ever have it over your top with with just the doors off and the top still on or do you always have the top off when you put on the cover?
I just stumbled back across this thread. That's the MOPAR cover isn't it? How do you like it? I can't decide between it and the Rain Gear. I usually leave the top on but have the doors off all the time. I think folks have said that the MOPAR doesn't fit very well with the top on and the Rain...
