the sound bar rattles when midbass is strong, releasing the inside rear latch on the drivers top stops the rattle.
Unfortunately, I wont find much because I wont be looking. Ill just be soaking everything with deadener.
My gladiator is absolutely riddled with rattles. something new in the passenger door is affected by vehicle speed. I am going to have to gut the interior and spray the whole thing down.
Ive been taking measurements all over the car looking for the best location. I decided I would not be able to get anything worthwhile under the front seats due to clearance. The obvious option is under rear seats but I like my storage. I will be doing a partial fiberglass enclosure behind the...
With removing the hardware storage behind the lockable storage there is enough clearance in theory. depending on wood thickness and the grade of the floorboard it may be an issue. Hard to say for sure until I buy one to place in there. The issue I am running into is the back seat latch on the...
You must live a pretty intelligent life if that's one of the stupidest ideas you've ever seen. It was designed to be enclosed against the windshield so it does not light up the dash and appears to be maybe 2" in height. Additionally it is a 90 degree flood so its somewhat narrow, might not light...
I am going to be jamming two JL 13tw5v2 13.5" subs under the rear seats if I cannot fit them behind the rear seats. Ill let you know how it goes.
Edit - this will be after I find time to remove the entire interior for sound deadening so it might be a while.
For those interested I just tested the rear glass with a light transmittance meter and it came out to 22.0, 22.2 and 22.2 for the 3 tests I ran. 25% tint on the front would be the closest match considering glass filters 3-9% light depending on thickness (windshields more than door glass).
if you dont have adaptive cruise control this could be a good option.

2 weeks in thought I'd update. MC just told me the only thing that they're waiting on are the springs. Still said 4-6 weeks though.
Arms and track bar for the rear are done, I figure they'll be using the same front end components from the JL.
^Yeah that
My seats are already warping from sitting in them (2500 miles 170lbs). Rear seats have not sprung back from my child seat either, been weeks and was only in for a day. Definitely going to be looking at replacing the leather eventually.
Its all in the tune brother.
I am running 28psi at 11.4:1 compression on 93, safely... on a different car.
I would assume the Edelbrock is running under 10psi, probably closer to 7psi. But could be wrong.
