I can attest out of all the vehicles I installed the Airlifts on the JT was the easiest. The Rams were okay, the Durango, omg I left a lot of my DNA on it, the JT, put my floor jack under the hitch, jacked it up to extend the suspension (yes had jack stands for back up) and hotdogged them in...
Done 5 sets of Airlift and 0 Firestone, so really no help sorry.
But, I can attest the little spring clamps on the Airlifts are a PITA.
Tough to get on properly, and a real bugger to find in the garage when they sproing off when mounting them on the airline.
Airlift is definitely less...
My experience with dealer wheel and tire packages is……they are just another middle man with their own markups.
But hey if they are competitively priced to your other sources, then go for it.
I have always got better pricing from actual Tire companies online.
Think outside the box my friend.
It’s real and it’s happening.
“Pro EV people are well off for the most part”
What?
You know this how?
With silly statements like that you lose your credibility in whatever your arguments are.
Let me add this…with our stupid temperatures here the last week and more upcoming this week (-30 to -40C), there has been a line up of tow trucks at the wife’s dealership of diesels with frozen DEF and air suspension vehicles looking for a place to thaw.
Too bad because I really liked the diesel...
For those that are perhaps unaware, EVs get better MPGe in the city as opposed to highway use. Opposite of gassers.
I suppose if you drive 400-600 kms a day you are right you would have to charge daily.
I believe there is a misconception in your statement.
EV owners do not “charge every single day”
Just as I and many others do not gas up every day.
With comparable range, most will only need to charge maybe once a week if they are used as daily commuters.
Just saying.
EVs are here, they are...
Apparently you feel that those of us involved in a conversation are just spewing “ jibber jabber”. Yet here you are.
This forum does not “only exist for enthusiasts”, it’s open to anyone and free to express opinions right or wrong. Your comment is borderline censorship.
But the article does….4xe. It’s part of the transition to full electric.
Naysayers will one day see and understand this is not a fad but a reality.
