I would take the 10 minutes and swap it out. The material can stretch. I have 2 sunrider tops for my JT in storage right now. Both of them have had the fabric stretch so now they flop and make noise. One of my Spring projects is to see how I can adjust the frame to tighten up the fabric.

If you look at Clayton spring numbers, you will see the same part numbers used on Gladiators and JKs. The same spring will lift a JK more. My guess is the PO installed a leveling spring that shares a part number with a JK.

I would advise against swapping in Rubicon take offs. As mentioned above, Rubicons tend to wallow. I went with Clayton's 1.5 kit with Bilstein 5100's with a greatly improved ride. I am slightly higher then a stock Mojave.

I did not get the survey. My '22 Rubicon does not have the aux switches. If given the option, I would want get them. My dad on the other hand has a JT and a JL, both with aux switches. He will never hook anything up to them or even care if they were not included.

Are you securing a ratchet strap to a tailgate latch? I would strongly caution against this. Although the strap may be able to hook on, I don't think the latches are designed for lateral stresses.

I would run the spacer lift as is until you figure out its limitations if there are any.
