I used GM top engine cleaner pouring it into the throttle body as I recall. I remember starting slowly and then (maybe, it was a long time ago) pouring enough in to stall the engine. It worked well.
My wife and I were delivering food last week in her Ford Escape. I was driving. She had the fob in her coat pocket. When she exited the vehicle for the delivery with the engine still running, it honked twice. I was glad it had that function. Wish my 2021 JTW had it too.
I bought early and may have paid a little too much. But the first summer with the premium soft top just showed me that it was well worth it. You will enjoy it
I live in the Dunes and there are at least 4 other JT’s in our town of 600 homes. We will give your JTHA - and any other JT - a friendly welcoming wave
do me a favor. If you drive in on US Rt 12 east of IN 249, let me know if your adaptive cruise control and emergency braking turn off each time...
I agree on the comments about 4WH in snow, but when someone in my family (who doesn’t understand how 4WD could affect handling on dry pavement) is driving my JT in intermittent inclement weather, I’m glad I can know they are using the AWD function
I let my Uconnect subscription lapse after my free period expired. All the info it shows can be found immediately in real time within the vehicle’s screens.
I was going to order the Warn VR evo 8-s with a receiver plate and alligator clip connectors but then I saw the Warn 87800 M8000-S.
Does anyone know the relative advantages of each winch? The lighter weight of the 87800 M8000-S is appealing to me
And is the 87800 M8000-S made in America??
I’ve done it twice.
On a college visit with two youngest kids in the Suburban, was waived into a below-ground parking lot by a nice upper classsman volunteer. I didn’t even think about checking the height limitation. The initial indication of a problem was hearing the roof rack scrape into a...
These would allow for quick and easy occasional front or rear use of a hitch-mounted winch without a separate battery. I see pricing around $100 from reputable resellers

Or.
Quadratec has rear bumpers with built in winch plates.
if any winch manufacturer provides cables that would reach the rear bumper (and therefore the rear hitch), then I imagine I would conect the battery cables to the battery cables in the intended fashion each time I would use it and I...
I don’t want to go to the expense and effort of replacing my front plastic bumper. I didn’t think about the corrosion on a permanently-mounted winch, but that would be an issue for me too. And then there’s the weight issue with what’s left of my 961 pounds of maximum payload
I see my most...
I’ll use my JT more as a truck and less as an off road vehicle.
i was shocked (after researching advertised capacities on Jeep.com and seeing a 1700 pound payload) to see that my stickerEd payload capacity is only 961 pounds. I don’t have a lot of heavy options.
So weight does mean a lot to me.
