does @Maximus-3 care about gladiators anymore? i haven't seen them reply to a thread since 2022. i have several of their products which are nice but if they don't care about us i'll go somewhere else
And the competition on the market for a covertible pickup truck that can offroad with a manual transmission is.......oh yeah, its only the Gladiator. we win!
? Yes careful of amazon tents. always better to get through a reputable distributor, if something goes awry shipping back an RTT is nearly impossible. Even better to go with a US company. Not as budget friendly but https://terrapod.com/ and https://gofastcampers.com/ are super high quality.
I like that no one has yet to post a pic of a JTR on a trail yet. Can't say I could in good consious for mine :) . Probably the baseball field with my kids.
Props for searching out exactly what you wanted, I did the same, mine was my first ever new off the lot jeep. Love the uniqueness of...
The weight amounts OP listed I agree aren't a big concern if they end up riding properly at all speeds.
That said, I do think BFG quality has declined. I ran KOs and KO2s on so many rigs I'm losing track. Before the JT I was in a WK2 running KO2s on stock 265/60 R18. I went to replace the...
If you go a little further south to St. Augustine and go south of downtown you can actually drive on the St. Augustine / Crescent beach. Not a trail of course but fun to do since there aren't many beaches left where that's allowed.
I've been rolling on 33s of them for about 1000 miles now after being a BFG guy for over 2 decades. They replaced the factory Falkon MTs. I love them and yes for E rated tires they are lighter than most other brands across all sizes when I looked at spec sheets as that was something I was...
The factory PPF on the rear fendors is garbage compared to aftermarket. When they pulled it off mine it was like a cheap brittle sticker and I have a new rig. Compared it to some PPF on one of the owners vehicles with 3 years of age and the aftermarket was still pliable.
For what I had done it was a little over 2k. Was told it would be around another 2k to finish it off.
It took me a while to find a good installer that I felt was giving me a fair price. The one I landed on didn't give me an out of the box price like others. They did a detailed suraface by...
I've personally never heard or seen any factory PPF other than the rear fenders amongst the 50 or so JT and JL owners I have direct knowledge of their rigs. But thats a small sample size.
I’ll go first :) and some pics below.
What brand PPF? - XPEL
Self or Pro install? - Pro
Areas covered? – front grill, headlights, fog lights, turn signals, entire hood including hinges, windshield frame, front fenders, rear fender, door hinges, door sills.
Mileage at install? - 2100...
Tip of the hat to prior threads that were mostly PPF specific.

How about an “official” thread on paint protection film? I’m interested in centralizing the details on PPF specific installs and results people are having. There are plenty of threads debating the benefits of ceramic coating versus PPF versus other options. Only found a few PPF specific threads...
