Most states that have safety inspection will have a height law on the books. In most cases unless you have something unsafe no one will check/enforce it. If you live in a rural area register as farm vehicle than no rules whatsoever.

Cold weather package does not have remote start with a manual. On the other hand AT is extra $2k, this can cover for other goodies. Honestly auto is a great transmission, stick well… let’s say it does the job ok. Next Jeep will be auto for sure.

Massachusetts is pretty strict, usually with a brand new car you get a pass without technicians doing the check, since it’s supposed to be “compliant” from the factory. Anything used they usually catch stuff like that. Is there a TSB on light alignment from factory, or is it more of a theory?

I have a factory setup and still get flashed by others all the time. Will let the dealer adjust it for me at next oil change. Surprisingly the truck passed Mass State inspection without getting flagged… ?

I actually moved from 2018 civic si to Gladiator. Si transmission is hands down one of the best in the industry. Every time you shift is like loading a bolt action rifle :) Miss that car I’m eyeballing a new Integra as my next ride.

If you are really concerned with car wash damaging your paint do a ceramic coating. Aldo pick places that rotate and maintain their equipment regularly, stay away from cheap franchises like golden nozzle, or gas station spots they are the worse. I used to obsess about paint when I owned sports...

I guess depends on how you use the truck. Personally stock Willys is a bit to high of the ground for loading the bed, and wife/kids getting in and out. It does look cool but not that great day to day.

I was actually thinking of 3D printing something that can be opened an shut on demand. I’m surprised Jeep did do same thing as Cherokee with a heating element in the windshield. That would have helped a lot.
