I had my synthetic oil analyzed in my last car at 8000 miles and the testing company said it had a few more thousand miles in it. So 10k is not a big deal for an oil change if using mobile 1 or amsoil imho.
If you have e an LSD in the rear its always going to look bad. It's the viscous material. I had the same oil in my rear. Front was clean. Here is a how to change and check the oil on our trucks.
The rear axle short and wide is thick on all Jeeps. The front axle short is thinner and the wide is 10mm. Confirmed by dynatrac.
