I pull trailers all the time. I have four of them and then I have a boat. Been doing it since 2019 and 212K miles with my JT.
For four years, I've had the Airlift HD bags for the Ram 1500 on my Gladiator. They're a little bit longer in case you decide on a lift. But, because they're HD, they're...
My apologies. It's this part. That's not the name for it, but that's what I keep calling it. Mine broke as I was removing it. And looking at the condition of it, I'm surprised it was still together.
Ok. The only reason I suggested the CANBUS connector is because a lot of components connect to the CANBUS to share date and I thought there may be a bad connection causing an issue.
But as far as the REDARC, It could be. Maybe your REDARC is defective or has an issue. The only other suggestion...
I'm only expressing my opinion from 7 years and 211K mile of ownership.
My comment was only my opinion and my experience. And my experience just happens to be 7 years of ownership and 211k miles with this particular jeep.
So, I'll rephrase my answer: I've hung mine like that for 7 years and...
One suggestion that I can offer is for you to check the canbus star connector behind the glove compartment. Check for damaged wires, damaged connector, or disconnected wires.
Actually, here are my two videos from my coolant related issues. The first one is the coolant hoses. It was a pinhole leak that I never noticed. I went to my friend's shop in TX to have them look at something and while underneath they noticed the leak. I bought all of the hoses and the connector...
Ok. So I have 210K on my JT. And in those 210k miles, I've had a few coolant related issues. Once, I had to replace the reservoir for a broken connector underneath. The second time, I had to replace all of the hoses for a pinhole leak that I didn't notice at first. And the third time, it was the...
I have. Over the past 7 years, I have built three different sub boxes for my Jeep. The first one had one 10" sub, second was two 10" subs, and the one that I have now has three 8" subs. They've all been underseat boxes though. And I know that you're not interested in that. But... I have other...
I've learned from working on vehicles since I was a kid and owning and working on my gladiator for 7 yrs and 209k miles now that there's no rhyme or reason as to when and why things happen.
The rear pinion bearing has shown to be problematic in some jeeps because of the roller bearing design...
My advice would be to put a couple of DJI or Gopro cameras underneath. Record videos in different locations. Sound travels through the suspension and frame and you'll spend money on parts you don't need.
I had a rear pinion issue that I thought was something going on with the front suspension...
Actually.... that's pretty good. I bought a couple jugs from Walmart (Central Florida) for $3 ea. Filled up the JT and the JK, but the Ram is still empty. Think I might run out to Family Dollar and get a couple more. Hopefully it's around the same price you paid.
Thanks for the tip! Hopefully...
