My winter is when the leaves fall off the trees and it occasional;ly rains. I do go up in the mountains where it is frigid and snow falls, so it is based upon what my Jeep experiences and what my research developed before I bought them.
As a former LEO with many years of experience, there are several collision factors here.
Violation #1 (Failure to stop for a red signal). There was an obvious red signal visible on the dash cam video and considering the traffic signal was most probably red for traffic traveling the direction...
Get your foot off the frigging gas........ I see the same mistake in snow. Also deflate the tires some. I do have to wonder though if the dual rear axle combination isn't also part of the problem. I drive my JR on the sand with absolutely on problem at all.
My former partner in LE has a teenage daughter. First date she had he was greeted at the door with dad wearing his .45. Come on in son and let's talk...... Just don't become a problem, because I truly believe all problems can be solved with just three things.... A shotgun, a shovel, and an alibi.
I installed the locking replacement hood latches that bring some peace of mind when I cannot be in close proximity to the vehicle. Nothing will keep the determined thief out, and these are nearly indistinguishable from the original latches.
I have used CarFax to locate venicles and or to prove or disprove fraud and or hidden damage or repairs on many occasions and found them to be the best first resource for information.
Simple.... buy one untouched and then mod it to your liking. It takes some shopping and patience, but in the end you get what you want not what the crooked dealers are pushing.
Getting ready for a three week Jeep ride. Northern Cali, Nevada, Death Valley, and Sedona Jeepin run..... I drive the shit out of my JR and love it. Drive it every day and go off road every chance I get.
