  1. It's happening....picking up my 37's today!!!

Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Me, I like a meatier tire/smaller wheel combo, so even as good a deal as it seemed, id have passed on that set just from an aesthetic standpoint. To each their own, but its just not my style. Others may have done the same, redicing the...

  4. What tires would you buy !!RIGHT NOW!!

KO2's will always been a good choice if you are looking for a good all around tire for a daily driver. That said, I just installed a set of the sasquatch sized Goodyears on my rig and I am really enjoying them.

  6. Rhode Island Gladiator Softopper $450

Highly tempted but I am getting an in-bed tent as a gift this Christmas. Doesnt make much sense to have the softopper as well, but I suppose I could always remove the topper to use the tent. Do you find yourself in CT much? Feel free to send me a PM. Edit: i see two mounting options on the...
  7. It's happening....picking up my 37's today!!!

Chalk test is basically ensuring that you are getting even load across the tread. Put chalk on, drive, see where chalk remains. If the pressure it too high, youll have chalk remaining at the shoulders of the tire. Too low, and chalk will remain in the center of the tire. Even cross, you have...

I enjoy his videos. His coverage of Hurricane Ian was pretty wild. He has caused me to buy a couple tools for my own garage haha.

  13. 35s and No Lift Thread

I too read that, and saw a lot of Bronco guys remove them for that reason. Went down a semi gravel road last night and didn’t experience that, but time will tell. I figured I could toss some mud flaps on there should it become an issue.
  14. 35s and No Lift Thread

Performing well, but only have about 150 miles on them so far. Comfortable, quiet, and look awesome. Compared to the Willy's wheels & BFG KO2 305/65r17's that were on it, I dont "feel" a significant difference in performance in acceleration, braking, turning, etc. If anything, they are better...
  15. Rock Trix 17x9 et+12 with Goodyear Territory MT 315/70r17 initial review

My used but new to me JTR came on a set of Willys take offs complete with the OE Firestone MT's. Not wanting to daily the MT's and wanting a larger tire, I bought a set of second hand BFG KO2's in 305/65r17. While better, they didn't fill out the wheel wells as well as I thought they would...
  16. 35s and No Lift Thread

JTR with 17x9 et12 Rock Trix wheels, 315/70r17 Goodyear Territory MT's (bronco sasquatch tire). No lift. Likely going to do the 1" portion of the teraflex level.
