@JimThe4th Those are nice. Im looking around at option for Molle Panels. Do you know off hand if JCR’s has an ootion for use with the bedrais?
If not, it seems simple enough to adapt to it.
Mounted a whip to my rails today...with cheap, I mean frugal, wait, inexpensive...errr...reasonable, no wait.....at a sensible cost, thats it.
I used some more unistrut hardware for the mount and a 3/8”x1” bolt with washer and lock washer. Total cost for the mount isless than $6 and is very...
On our last trip to the desert we were with friends who both have Jeeps that are equipped with a whip, we had yet to get one so we wheeled in between our friends.
Today I picked up a cheap whip to hold us over until we get an LED whip.
A trip to the local orange diy store, a few dollars and a...
@XJ2JTChris The ride is a little stiffer than stock. There are better lifts available, but I’m happy with it. I’ve taken it Offroad several times and wasn’t disappointed. It directly mimics the stock rake, so after I installed a steel bumper and a winch the fronts springs settled a little so I...
@12BNNT I’ll try to check it tomorrow. But for what it’s worth. If it is M6 1.0 threaded, you won’t need to use a tap on that one, the bolts are cheap enough you can sacrifice one to run it in and out of the hole at speed with your drill. For the hole that’s not threaded I think I would rather...
Wonderful build man, keep it up!
Curious about the Red Bed Plug Cover install. Was the stock cover plastic and how difficult was it getting through the bedliner?
We went on a local drive/light wheel today.
Los Pinos Mt.
There were some tight spots, some steep climbs and some sweet views.
Im pretty sure I now have some new fancy pinstripes...I’ll have to wash ‘er up a bit to see how extensive and unique it is.
We the finished up at Alpine Beer Co...
@steffen707 These came off my Nissan Titan. They’re flipping huge, overkill for these rails. I need to check out the Tacoma tie-downs which I think are more size appropriate.
The girth of the Titan tie-downs only allows installation into the rails before mounting to the bed, but once
in and...
Im interested to find out if the Tacoma tie downs would fit in this track as the ones I have from the Titan are giant and total overkill. If the tie downs from the Tacoma fit I would use them for sure.
Yes, I find its the most important step in any process. I consider it physically preparing, like calisthenics before a workout, the beer helps with limbering up.
I feel there should be a disclaimer in here somewhere, eh, Im not an attorney, what do I know!
