Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I would consider a conversation about that warranty prudent. The start date of the warranty is the build date, normally. Sounds like that new truck is a good ways through the original factory warranty.

what about mud and road salt? Although looking at the shape of your gladiator you are not in the northern states.
