The decal does go on last or you wouldn't be able to remove them, not under the clearcoat. The drip can easily be fixed. Sounds like a pretty crappy shop though. Reassembling while wet is a problem as well as scratching it all up. I would be hesitant to let them have another go at it but if...

Around here I've noticed it's the younger Jeep females that don't wave. Like highschool/college age. The ones over 30 or so wave as much as the men. My assumption has been it's some combo of not paying attention, not knowing about waving, and thinking I'm trying to hit on them by waving.

I think repainting is standard with the rust issue that the JLs have had for a while now. I would expect the same for the hood. As long as the shop knows what they're doing, there's no problem with removing rust and repainting.

People have been emailing jeep customer service and requesting how many of their specific build were made. They have included how many of that trim (rubicon/mojave/etc.) were built in gecko. The numbers you posted match what people have been getting back. Just need to get someone from each...

Necro Bump, I've got a handful of various JT toys that are sitting around waiting on me to destroy them in the process of trying to paint them but has anyone come across an actual plastic model yet? Hard to believe nobody makes one.

The majority of that thread is people screwing around. Pretty much no JTs in my area wave. A decent number of wranglers wave. I've never had a JT park next to me but I have had wranglers park next to me. If I based it on my limited personal experience I wouldn't wave at JTs either...

Thank god it doesn't really look like that. On my monitor it looks like that off white cream color builders painted all interiors in the early 90's.

Jeep doing truck stuff. Also happens to be the most off-roading it's done so far. Yes, yes I did use the off-road pages and trail cam to navigate my way back to the front of the house. Got up to an 8 degree roll at one point!
