It's an extra top. A family member had their hard top damaged in a storm and the insurance company is replacing it and allowing them to keep the old one. So, I was going to pick it up for them. It's still a usable top.
Has anyone ever put a 4 door JL Hard top in their Gladiator Bed. I am supposed to pick one up for my Wife's Jeep. My son has a Ram and I can swap trucks to get the top, but if I can haul it in the back of my Gladiator, I would rather do that.
After measuring the hard top I would have to put...
I have never done a pedal commander or taser. What is a MIL? I will check underneath for any wiring issues. I had video of my tachometer jumping when I was having my transmission issues. I was told by my service department that unless they could replicate the issue the video wasn’t helpful. It...
I have had this issue happen 2 times this past week. I also had my transmission replaced under warranty approximately 5,000 miles ago.
The first time I came to a stop at a stop light and my engine reved. It did it for a second. I put the truck in park. Turned it off and then restarted the...
Wireless LED brake lights. You plus into the 7 pin of your motorhome and then the lights are magnetic and should hold to the bottom of your rear bumper.
Here is an example of what I'm talking about. I am in no way recommending these, I just wanted to give you an example. I used the...
Tires aren’t the issue. It’s no weight over the rear drive tires. All trucks in 2wd can skid out from underneath them if they give too much gas on wet pavement. It’s physics. Add weight to your truck bed and it should solve your issue.
General rule when picking a camper to tow behind your truck is be 1,000 lbs. below your tow rating. That way you will never have to worry about being over. Capability of the truck and being legally liable are 2 different things. If your camper weighs more than your tow capabilities and you’re in...
The JKs never had that issue. There are plenty of other options the could have used. Like round thicker pins that don’t bend with a slight wind blowing. Like they do on boats
I had to have my drivers side door harnesses replaced. Both the harness in the door and on the Jeep. Well over a $3,000 job. Thank god it was under warranty. I still can’t believe Jeep hasn’t done a recall on that door connector. So many people have problems with them. It’s a garbage set up. The...
Radiator leak could be a pin hole in one of your hoses. My brother in law had a split radiator and had it replaced. He noticed fluid and that it was leaking. They pressure tested and everything was fine. After 3 attempts of them “fixing” the radiator and having him pick it up they discovered the...
Whether you go with an extended warranty or not is a personal financial decision. There is only one warranty I would recommend and that is the MOPAR Max Care plan. It covers everything except cosmetic issues and the deductible is $100. I have it on both my Jeeps and my brother in law has it on...
This is a long response but may shed some light on what you’re dealing with.
So, this has been on several threads. I started one in the spring because not only did I have the clunk but I had a “skip” in my transmission from 3rd to 4th gear. My local dealership couldn’t recreate the problem but I...
Ok, so I have a Sport S with the tow package. Therefore I have 3.73 gears. I currently have 33s and when my KO2s wear out I was thinking of going to 35s. I do not have a lift. Will I be ok or is that too much for the 3.73 gears?
Call Jeep Customer Care. They will open a case and can help expedite getting parts, if they are available. They also search other Jeep dealerships for anyone that may have a back order part at their dealership. If they find it they will arrange it to be sent to your dealership. Dealerships...
