@Jake what is the relevance of the top picture? It doesn’t appear to be a Jeep Gladiator bed.

I think his picture clearly indicates it is not sitting on the gas pipe bulge. You can see in the picture where the gas pipe bulge takes a turn and the lattice is sitting 1-2 inches below that.

There are pictures on page 4 of this thread where someone did just that. Edit - starting with post 49 in case your page 4 is different than mine due to posts per page.

In my example I used another user that ordered from the same dealership. So I don’t think that is it. I think they actually have it set like a powerball lottery. And instead of working to get JTs built, all the Jeep execs are standing around a big powerball machine. I really wish it was...

Yeah there is no rhyme or reason to how they are scheduling these things. I have a red LE with no shipping date. And there is another red LE ordered through the same dealership with a VIN about 400 behind mine and they have a mid May shipping date.

I bet it is because it is an Overland and doesn’t have the Rubicon fenders with extra clearance.

I really don’t think the tracker is giving any information at this point. I do think some pre spec orders are showing up occasionally once they have got a window sticker. But I don’t think anyone has gotten anything from the tracker for any custom or LE order yet. All info has come from dealer...

No. Someone that purchased same color (red) as me, from the same dealer, with a vin about 400 behind mine, is scheduled and mine isn’t. No rhyme or reason.

Based on the manual. It appears that the camera is available in more than 4 low. It states at one point that the camera will auto shut off after exceeding 8mph. But also states that when in 4 low, the camera will not auto shut off, no matter what speed.

That is really interesting as they won’t be able to confirm the person actually completed the sale at that point. You would think they would wait til after delivery and pick from a pool of people who completed purchase.

I think it looks great! It definitely wouldn’t look that clean and white once you start loading it with plywood! So the liner was the right choice!

Sorry to hear that. But you will be happy with billet. I flip flop on color choice every time I see a picture of a gladiator. They all look great.

The auto show I went to had a red Rubicon with a red dash. The color of the truck and the dash is quite different. I could see some people having an issue with that. I personally didn’t mind it and thought it looked great.

I got caught out in the rain topless in my old YJ a few times. I found that playing “Here Comes the Sun” would usually put an end to the rain showers. :rain::sun:

Unfortunately Granite Crystal can not be ordered at this time. So no way for dealer to update that order with that color. I would guess that black truck will be on the lot prior to ordering opening up for granite crystal.
