ha! Yeah i'm in the same boat. I have had mine installed for a couple weeks now but don't actually know if it works well. I haven't had anyone to talk with on it. I have a set of handhelds on order, so I'll find someone to give me a hand testing it using those eventually. About 10 years ago when...
I thought that might work, but at the time that would require me adding Velcro to the top of the computer and I wasn't sure if it would clear or not. Sliding sideways happened to work but moving forward was my plan B to try if it didn't. Good to know it will though, and helpful for anyone else...
Great question, and unfortunately, no. I use a harness thing that wraps around the headrest bars. It isn't as secure as seatbelt versions, but our dogs are also only around 18 lbs. I think it would be fairly easy to cut a slit into it if desired.
That's interesting. We don't really see that on the west coast, at least not around where i'm at. The beaches erode slowly some but no real change to the coast or continuous movement. Well... there is one beach that was all sand when i was a kid, but now after hard rain (once every 3-4 years)...
I'm curious, those tree stumps you mentioned and i can see in your video. Are they drift wood washed up, or stumps from trees that used to be growing there? If they are stumps from trees that used to be there, what happened that there is not a single living tree on the beach any longer?
There...
OK good, that's what i was assuming, but glad to have it confirmed... apparently i need some caffeine as I HAD read that, yet somehow totally missed the last part. The next question will just be what the replacement blades on their own cost. Since they offer a set with the kit, it may be a...
I could be mistaken, but isn't the $140 ($103 BAM) prices for the kit that includes parts like hoses ect. to convert to this style system? It is not just replacement wiper blades... right?
I have a mount that uses the side cowl screws exactly the same as Josh00333 above, same Midland 6db antenna as well. I am interested in switching to your mount to increase my reception/clarity. I searched Amazon for trunklip NMO antenna mounts and it appeared all of them have the cable...
Your efforts are appreciated.
previous posts mentioned scraping off the paint to have a solid white background to shine the light through. This may be the only feasible way to get a solid/clean backlight. That is alittle outside my comfort zone to do to my new truck, but I suppose I could...
I mounted my 575 under the steering column as suggested and had a couple hiccups for those of you who haven't done the install yet.
First, the space above the computer (black metal box with vent holes, i assume its the computer) fits the radio perfect at a standstill, but I found out the hard...
Yes that part. How far past the end of the bed post (narrowest part of the bed at the tailgate end) does the bracket stick out? (Roughly, I don’t need exact) I’m just curious if it gets in the way. Obviously it serves a good purpose, I just want to know if it’s also a nuisance. Thanks.
Photos show a tab/bracket thing sticking into the bed at the tailgate end. Does that get in the way? It seems like it might catch on things, or reduce the available bed width. See image.
Thanks for the reply.
