There was a rumor about some possible reimbursement if you "fix" the problem on your own...While probably not likely...Wonder if that would apply to an AEV or MetalCloak lift... Not feeling a great deal of confidence in Mopars Suspension engineering team at the moment :)
I have been on this thread for a while, and all the other ones too :), but I may have missed it. Does anybody actually know what the Spring Rate is for our front springs? Or what it is supposed to be? The Clayton Leveling springs are rated at 188 lb/in... I saw some info on the gas springs that...
Any update? Would also be nice to know the distance between the bottom plate and where it actually contacts the metal up top. Mine is like 2 inches, but in your pic it looks to be a much bigger gap.
This has probably already been linked, but funny
"But that wasn’t the only thing that caught us off guard while on in the desert. We took it through some high-speed desert whoops, and it came crashing down hard on the bump stops. (and by high-speed, we mean 15 MPH) In fact, you can bottom out...
Found this thread when looking at another one I posted this on:
I have a Lowmax cover, and it drops down below the rails due to the support bars that run across the cover. We ended up with a Cordova cooler, and LOVE it... Great construction, decent prices, and hey you can pick it up on your...
Cant speak to the Mopar cover, sorry... I have a Lowmax cover, and it drops down below the rails due to the support bars that run across the cover. We ended up with a Cordova cooler, and LOVE it... Great construction decent prices, and hey you can pick it up on your way to Moab ;)...
Seems strange to reply to yourself ;). I got a message from Rock Krawler this morning. Seems they are still working on the 1.5" lift spring, but it is a bit delayed they are hoping to see something next month sometime. Maybe
Cares told the dealership they couldn't help. So I called back they opened a new case, and they "Promised" they would call me back after talking with Engineering, but never did.
I really don't think that changing out the bumpers on the bump stops is a fix. More like another band-aid.
I was...
Sorry GOFAST, sucks!
I just got my MC Undercloak installed, boy does she bottom out now!
In more bad news, Just got off the phone with RockKrawler. The guy I talked to said that the 1.5" spring for the diesel is not available, and made it sound like it would not be, so not sure if that means...
Need to post an update in regards to my ATP rails. The rails had two issues, first the studs that mount them to the body, they are the same diameter and thread pattern as the Rubi-Rails... they are pressed into the plate on the rails, not welded. During the initial install one stripped out and...
I know that that there has been some hot posts on if Jeep Owes us something... I am not looking for a blank check, or a refund, I want the rugged, top of the line Jeep I paid for. I want it to NOT bottom out going over speed bumps, at the Speed Limit. I want what they sold me.
.
I think it...
Thanks @JRobes, No intentions of purchasings them, but my dealer can seem to figure this out, I was going to tell them what part number too look for, if anybody has any ideas?!
Can't figure out why this is so difficult, It is still on the website as an option.
Thanks for the help ALL!
Hello All,
I need a bit of help from the Group. My rear seat cover is not made correctly, and I can't seem to get it repaired. I have taken it to the dealer, they told me that apparently my VIN says I have cloth interior, but I ordered my Rubicon with the Mopar Premium Stitched leather. The...
Well since I am basically back to stock with my front bumper and winch removed, and the plastic bumper on... thought I would share a measurement picture for the peanut gallery. Yep that is 2 1/2.
Also the dealership gave me a similar line that the others have heard... I called JC again, and...
So many good questions... I was going to ask the collar question too. I could see if they put a Mojave style gas bump in there, but not a little plastic ring. Mine has been at the shop since Wednesday... no idea what they are doing this time... Since the first shop could not "replicate" the...
