I have tried both ways. Makes no difference. When it starts doing this, it will not let me downshift at all in manual or auto.

I can up shift but it will not let me drop a gear and it is really bogged down at that point. I think if I could get it to down shift even one gear, I would be fine.

It does not shut down but the gauge pretty much maxes out and I get an overheating waring pop up on the dash.

I did not and he may be incorrect. He told me it had 4.56 gears in it as well and that is definitely not the case.

I can put my foot to the floor and it makes no difference in rpm

It usually occurs in 5th or 6th gear and the truck will absently not let me downshift when this is happening. speeds are usually 65-70 but drop well under 60 mph when this occurs.

I did not but the guy that originally purchased the jeep ordered it with the upgraded axles. he also had the factory 2" lift added as well.

It definitely Struggles up hill. It has zero power when this is going on. It wont down shift at all in manual or auto mode. I really hoping that the regear will solve the issues.

I'm getting pretty close to 50k so I need to do that and maybe look into a transmission flush as well?

I do have the widetrack hd44 axles under my jeep. They are 35's. I bet that guy that took his lift off drinks bud light as well.

So it looks like I have everything the maxx tow has minus the 4:10 gears and the factory brake controller. I have installed a aftermarket brake controller.

My Sxs is close to 1800 lbs + the weight of my trailer. I would say no more that 2800lbs. My camper weighs under 2000lbs soaking wet and fully loaded.
