went to nags head last week, had a blast! able to head up to corolla friday evening. i made sure to lower my tires to 20psi, it worked well last time. The sand looked a bit more firm than last visit, it looked like the tide recently lowered. jeep rode perfectly fine. there were some sugary spots...
guardian is kinda cool, i stopped using it after the first month though. i feel like it took way too long to do anything. it took the convenience out of it. the Send and Go feature worked but wasn't useful enough for me to remember it. i generally have too quick of access to my car keys that...
i had the SE on my old truck and just threw two small sofas on it when moving it. used the tie-downs, it did perfect. taking it on and off was kind of a PITA (the HD will be more so though it didn't come off much) but i can't think of any other cover that is safer and/or stronger. i am rocking...
perfect assessment. i enjoyed my 2017 ridgeline, but it was my first truck and it made us want to do more truck/outdoor stuff. it was great for going to the drive-in, getting mulch, hauling furniture, loading up for a weekend trip at the beach, running errands. wasn't too big or too small. i...
i had my freedom panels back on last winter. i guess i'll do it again, though not sure when and i was thinking about leaving the bestop on to take advantage of good days and the difference between that and a full soft top isn't much, i imagine. i'm in NC so the winters are cold but not horrible
love my jt, i think they look cool as hell (in most angles). there are lifted ones with huge tires, lifts, and the works; they look cooler.
but what do i know, i had a 2017 ridgeline before this...
its a bit weird but maybe the guy just digs your set up and has no idea as to where else to figure out what to add on. there is a large aftermarket of parts to choose from, it can be overwhelming; and then you have to hope what you spent money on looks/works well when installed. easier to see it...
the jpeggz and kikbax are good because they serve two purposes (foot rest too) and seem to minimize vibrations. I saw some reports of one or the other (not both, can't remember which) causing issues with the hinges that had to get reset (one had to go to the dealer). this had me really hesitant...
the weather is too unpredictable here in NC for more than a few days of sun with a slight chance of showers. i worry about frying the leather and fading the interior though, how do all yours look after so many days?
depends on the purpose, i got full bc i don't wheel crazy and feel like it would protect the front of the fender and lights if i hit anything like branches or bushes
rock crawling...go stubby for clearance
stock jtr with aftermarket front bumper and 12k winch so there is seems to be more of a rake, or i notice it more. i bought the teraflex 1.5", will put it in the front sometime soonish. then i think 35s when the stock 33s wear out. hopefully that will be good enough for light off-roading
like...
