What’s the overall mounted height of your 38” ridgegrapplers. Seems Nitto is a bit optimistic at least in my experience. My 37-12.5 ridgegrapplers measured out at 35.5” installed. How damn hard is it to make a tire in the stated size??
damn, you weren’t kidding. Nothing in 38-40” is available anywhere ive looked. Most are 5 weeks out. I would consider both 17” and 20” wheels since I’m buying new anyways.
Self made. Unistrut mounted to the ceiling. Couple of Amazon sourced trolleys with a HF electric hoist bolted on. 6’ sigh post with webbing and grommets. Couple of hitch pins to lift from factory bolt holes. Makes removal a 1 man 5 minute job and holds my top up and out of the way all summer.
What are the options for a non daily driver but not off road exclusive JT in the 38-40” size range. Have 37’s Ridgegrapplers currently but want to change wheels so new tires seems easiest way to go and sell my takeoffs complete.
Got a bunch done today around the house snd a bit done on tge jeep
Fishbone foot rests
Tuffy console locker
Fully naked for the first time this year
Took some measurement to see how much clearance I have to go bigger on tires. 38” or a small 40” will fit I am betting.

Great looking JT. I’m in the area if you ever need a hand wrenching just PM me. Always glad to help another Jeep fan blow bundles of cash. It helps me justify doing the same!
I was right there with you man. Waited well over a year. Watched them raise prices on non available parts at least twice. Total horseshit as they cranked out new JTs and JLs. Obviously the parts are available but they won’t release them because they just want to sell new customers NOT give a tip...
If this is available to purchase now as a bolt on versus one off all custom, I am all over it. I wonder how much of the frame gets lopped off and besides losing the spare tire space what else needs to be relocated? I don’t see a fuel filler on it.
They do but it’s ridiculously huge. If I had room in my garage for that thing I would fill it with Jeep parts or another jeep. The overhead hoists are the best solution because they don’t take up any floor space empty or while holding the hard top.
4.10 with 37’s suck. 3.73 would be worse. Don’t let anyone tell you different. If they do they’re either in denial or worse. I suffered with this set up for a couple months while waiting for parts. I went to 5.13 with 37’s and love it.
I hope they come thru in May as mentioned but I waited and waited and waited and saw multiple supposed expected arrival dates come and go. The only move on them was the price,,,, up! Mopar couldn’t supply the parts but it didn’t stop them from raising the prices while continuing to miss...
