  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Just food for thought here guys, but check with your local state police or whoever to make sure it doesn't violate your state's windshield obstruction laws. I ran into the issue when I was mounting my Garmin Tread Overland XL. AZ and Cali are really tight with their restrictions...
  2. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Yeah, personally I like this mounting position: on the frame behind the bumper on either side. That's where I mounted mine. You can just see the ICON emblem name in there. 2020 Rubicon with factory steel bumper in case anyone was wondering...

Good peeps in Osh. We had a plant there and I’d go there a couple times a year. I just can’t do the cheese curds. Curd. Just sounds wrong. Lol

They had a cat that couldn’t fly and they were just the worst drivers. They finally sold their house in FL last year and I’ve now been reprieved. LOL
  5. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

After I retired and my folks got too old to drive safely, I had to make that drive twice a year from Napa, CA to Lakeland, FL so they could be snowbirds. Gave me PTSD

Preach!! North on 75, left turn at Lake City and then die a little inside.
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Having driven across both of those states more times than I can count, I can firmly say that I10 across Texas is infinitely worse than both of those combined!! OMG

While it does seem chintzy, it actually makes since. I have watched buddies smack a fender when the rock they were going over suddenly tipped the vehicle drastically popping the fender off. If there weren't "breakaway" clips, the option would be bent body panels, stripped out sheet metal screw...

60's here and I'm certainly feeling 20 years of playing rugby (which I didn't start until I was 30) and ~15 years of rock climbing before that! Funny story: When I was dating my now-wife back around 1995, I had dragged her to a huge rugby tournament up in South Dakota. I didn't go with a team...
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Totally get it. But it's a shame. I always hated it when I saw it at my old company before I retired: BUREAUCRACY > COMMON SENSE
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

You know the funny thing about that? I went through that whole rigamarole when my first Aux Battery died; but unfortunately when mine died, I was 10 miles out in the backcountry. I had to get a ride from someone else into town, buy a new battery and get back to the Jeep and replace it to get...

FWIW, I've been running a full RPM Steering set up on my Gladiator for over a year now and have had no issues. Luckily for me they are actually located less than a mile from where I live so I was able to visit with the owner and his son....great guys; superior product. I run SteerSmarts/Yeti...

I also like the compactness and tidy storage of the factory unit. I like scissor jacks in general. After looking at various other scissor jacks, here's what I decided to do: Since I'm running 37's, the factory jack is too short; so I made a base to elevate the jack. This is two 4x4 blocks...

  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Yeah, I grew up in the 70’s too. We called it the “Oh $h!t bar” because that’s the last thing the passenger said before they grabbed it. Lol
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I'll admit...I've never heard it called that before. I grew up calling it the "Oh $h!t Bar"
  18. MY History with Jeeps. What's your first Jeep story?

AMEN!! That was my upbringing and my kids learned the same lessons. I watch how my wife's brother and sister raise their kids (we are both older than her siblings and our kids are now adults while their kids are in high school and younger), kids that they will not say "No" to and they are holy...
  19. MY History with Jeeps. What's your first Jeep story?

@Mud Pie @Jteakus -tell your story, the thread title asks for it Now this is not as cool of a story as the OP's, but I'll share. I grew up in a town of 2000 in rural Kentucky in the late 60's early 70's. My dad had a '69 Bronco and then a '71 Bronco, so I grew up in those; but my uncle had a...
