  1. two cheap mods to JT 22’ & a few regrets on order

I did the same 2 mods on my '20 Gladiator. Also added the Dee Zee tailgate pad. A little more pricy but well worth the protection.
  2. Fender flares made of cheap material

I had a 2016 Wrangler with badly faded plastic fenders. It was a Hawaiian vehicle so the sun beat the hell out of it. I used this Rustoleum product and it worked miracles on them. Brought them back to new...
  3. Sealed up the bed, but not the traditional way.

I did as you AEsco48. Except my reasoning was to keep snow out. I'll see in a couple months if it worked.
  4. Dunno 'bout this one.

I don't understand. I would not put anything on my vehicle that I didn't want on it. Just because your wife/significant other thinks it would look good you put it on to please. If she's making the payment, no argument. If I'm making the payment...my truck my rule.

  10. Fenders fading already - less than a year!

I agree with Jeff. My gladiator is a year old now and the fenders and bumpers look new. I use Griot's ceramic wash and Maguire's ceramic detail on all the plastic as well as the body. I've never heard of the heat gun method. I'll stick to a little elbow grease. Good luck. :like:

Had my Gladiator almost a year now. Had to go to my dealer and order my Gobi touch-up.
