Given your plate design, you may already have seen it......but what about adding some holes along the bent portion to route cabling like the @813 Fabrication & Design plate?
Here is a thread on the Wrangler forums I referenced when I did something similar...
In this truck I went with the Stinger Horizon 10. For the money, I couldn't convince myself to go 8.4 UConnect when the Stinger stuff existed. Had the 8.4 in the previous trucks but the Stinger stuff offers more features and, in my opinion, looks better as well. And that's from someone who...
FWIW, I may or may not have a 7" UConnect sitting in a box that I have absolutely no use for. Completely possible that it could find it's way to you for shipping costs.
That said, you would then have to deal with all the extra bits and sensors needed for HVAC controls, Volume/Tuning...
No experience with that unit in particular......but head over here, chuck your VIN into the form about halfway down the page, and see what it spits out after a search. Maybe it will be useful.

Aesthetically speaking, I am usually "Team OEM" on just about everything.........but the Stinger stuff is so well done that I haven't once looked at my dash and regretted ditching the UConnect.
The fact that the Stinger software/features are simply better is just a bonus.
No way I would drop...
Without getting into the weeds on tire sizes, driving habits, geography, etc........it's worth mentioning that our manuals ARE essentially a 4 speed.......with two overdrive gears.
This reminds me....does anyone know the current status of Dakota Customs? Seems like they had a lot of the components for this sort of thing figured out, but their website had expired and there was essentially no way to contact them last time I looked into this. I have a couple 5.7's out of...
Yeah, these are sort of my thoughts as well. Keep the Gladiator's focus on the things that made it a "Jeep truck" to begin with.....it's ok to be different. This gives the folks at Stellantis a completely new outlet to pour all the boring stuff (that actually sells) into, lmao.
Give me my old...
I believe they were Kenwood eXcelon. Same as what I used for the dash speakers, if I recall.
But it's worth reiterating that the location is the takeaway here instead of the speaker quality or lack thereof. The dash speakers are doing the majority of the work between the two in my opinion.
This was essentially my exact experience as well. I did end up changing the dash speakers but once those were in I saw no need to even mess with the sound bar.
On the last truck, I did change the sound bar speakers and was a bit disappointed in how little difference it made to overall sounds...
Or, like me, OP is just picky. I searched for almost two years, went backwards in year model, and travelled out of state to get the current truck. Hundreds of closer options with cheaper price tags, but none with the specific set of options/color/manual trans that I decided I wanted.
I had a third gen Grand Cherokee with the same thing on the CarFax. Way more miles though. It was pushing 140k by the time I bought it. It was the old Mercedes sourced common rail diesel version. Visually, the undercarriage was a nightmare, but mechanically, it ended up being one of the most...
May not mean a lot these days....but the URL was registered 6 years ago (a lot of the popup dropship sites that just resell AliBaba stuff are brand new), and is publicly registered to a physical address in Australia that leads to a brick and mortar outdoor store...
I can't seem to find it currently, but I know I saw a cable/adapter on here somewhere to use the bus connections behind the glove compartment for the Banks stuff. Thats where the Stinger connects as well. Seems like that would free up the connection under your steering wheel for the Tazer if...
Sure doesn't sound like anything OEM to me. No indicators on the dash would also lead me to believe its aftermarket or something added afterwards.
Have you added any electrical mods? What about one of your aforementioned backseat passengers playing a prank on you?
