  1. What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

maybe, but I would hold on to it because I’m sure there will be plenty of people trying to find an original gladiator 20 years from now.
  2. What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

“I like painted better” is is my opinion that qualifies as “unpopular“ ;) I do like that you use the gladiator as a tool. Mine has to be used a tool as well, but in a different way. With my Small construction business I must to have a truck bed to carry materials. It also has to look very...
  3. What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

Painted looks nicer than plastic, …just ask my faded out plastic wiper cowl
  4. Congrats! You're the WORST!

I need a “truck” for work, just to move materials to job sites a few times a week. I was super excited to let go of the 3/4 Sierra for the ability to put the top down and enjoy the air. I would never buy a Ridgeline, and I’m guessing the guy in a Ridgeline would never buy a Gladiator...
  5. Unofficial East Coast Jeep wave survey

I’m a new Jeep owner but I feel like the wave seems to be situational here in Orlando, High density of Jeeps may be the issue. I feel like I’m more likely to wave passing on a 2 lane road vs 4 and more so if there is a median. I seem to wave more on Fri, Sat and Sun vs Mon Tue or Wed I...
  6. Bestop Soft Door Review

Thanks for the review and thoughts... I've been really thinking of getting these soft doors, but only to keep in the bed for emergency rain protection if I have hard doors off. Hearing that they aren't water tight is making me nervous that they wouldn't really be a good emergency help. Here...
  7. Totally worth it

Good thought, thanks! I’m a new Jeep owner, enjoyed riding doorless first few times last week. Completely forgot about securing the toll pass ?
  8. Why a gladiator might not work for me.

That is a lot of stuff for any vehicle with out pulling a trailer. I can sympathize we have a family of 5 and a dog, but that is why the other vehicle is an expedition.
  9. Doors off for the first time yesterday. Some questions.

I took the front doors off for the first time an evening last week, it was super fun! I definitely want to ride that way more often, but with Central Florida rain I’m trying to find the best solution for emergency cover up. I have looked at Bestop soft doors that I could throw in the bed...
  10. Talk me into a Sunrider

I love the Sunrider. I only lasted one week taking the freedom panels on and off before I ran out to buy the Sunrider. It is warm on the 95 degree days though, but everything is warm on those days. I usually get 3 or 4 small drops in during the drying cycle of the car wash, but nothing worth...
  11. Talk me into a Sunrider

I’m curious about this too. I was assuming I could remove the back two screws, then take off the hard top
  12. Ford Recalls

Oddly enough, I have a gladiator, my wife drives the expedition. So as it turns out the thread is helpful for at least a very small segment of folks here
  13. Your Jeep's name

Stickers are a good idea to keep the name permanent . My father wanted to name his truck "Maximus", but my kids renamed it "Gummy Bear" ...which is what stuck.
  14. High Altitude's with bigger rubber on stock wheels

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures. It was helpful as I made new tire decisions. In the end I went with 275/60/R20 SL Toyo Open Country ATIII. I barely do any hauling and I wanted to stay away from E rated tires because of their weight and stiffness. Also, it's been a while since I've had...
