  4. Gladiator vs Tacoma IMO

Love the looks of the Tacoma TRD Off-Road…. And went a couple of times to test drive one…. I hated the transmission… I just could not do it…. I ended up buying a Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison diesel… I am happier with my Mojave now… only thing I miss is a slightly larger/taller bed.

  6. Any issue putting the 850w fan on with the base alternator?

Once you get the alternator, do confirm if it is a match. I would like to order the same one as well... for that price, why the heck not!
  7. Quality of life upgrades?

Have not done it... but it is on its way... To make it easier for my wife and my father-in-law to get in... I was looking for steps alternatives. Started looking for anything that would work with the stock rock rails and still be able to remove them easy... the only ones that I liked were...
  8. Quality of life upgrades?

One modification that has been a great improvement for me was the Oracle rear bumper LED reverse lights with the harness kit. Significant better visibility while going in reverse at night... Stock setup just lacks. I really like my Bulletpoint RubiGrid Dash Mount Platform... I know you went...

  10. Any issue putting the 850w fan on with the base alternator?

Is the alternator in our Gladiators a smart alternator, also referred to as a variable voltage or ECU controlled charging system? I guess the real question I want to ask is if the higher output alternator is just an easy remove and replace task? No software or configuration changes needed...
  11. Any issue putting the 850w fan on with the base alternator?

Mine is a 2022, but I will still check… better safe than sorry. I went ahead and ordered the fan (Mopar 68272755) for now.
  12. Any issue putting the 850w fan on with the base alternator?

Will you be also doing the Mopar high output alternator - part number 56029803AA ? Or only if your current one is not up to the task?
  13. What the heck is this? Is this real? Aluminum Rubicon 3 piece bumper...

Well... I ordered one today. Did you have to buy any additional hardware for the install? EDIT: Went back and read all the posts again... Looks like it comes with everything needed, hardware wise. So no need to buy anything else to get it installed. Also looks like there was no need for me...
  14. Wachuko's Mojave Build Thread

As mentioned elsewhere, I have four N-Fab steps…my initial plan was to fabricate a mount for them that would fit the stock rails… Instead, I have decided not to fabricate anything to adapt the N-Fab steps to the factory rock rails... I went ahead and ordered the N-Fab (RKR) rock rails...
  15. Any issue putting the 850w fan on with the base alternator?

  16. Install 9000 lb. Warn winch on Mojave plastic bumper, record time and zero sag!

I get your point. And if going with the Mopar steel bumper, yes, you need to buy a lot of separate parts... But the knock-off comes with everything, winch plate and all... for US$410.00 But then, there is the extra weight...
  17. Install 9000 lb. Warn winch on Mojave plastic bumper, record time and zero sag!
