Issue I could see is if you had to use them in muddy conditions and you didn't have room in the bed to store them afterwards.

Wow I missed that part and only a 1 year warranty on something you probably have to drill holes into the windshield frame for. Makes it hard to undo if you have issues down the road. That would be a hard pass for me.
