I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow. I’m at 2500 miles. Clutch makes noise whenever I shift, sounds like throw out bearing or something. I’ve driven it since Wednesday cause we just sold our old car and dealer could not get me in sooner ... I’m not amused.
Saw 4 yesterday in Highlands Ranch, CO within 30 minutes of each other. Saw one identical to mine (black Sport S soft top) on Friday leaving work. To the point here that I see at least one on almost every errand I run. I get super excited only to have them either not see me or they are...
The snap is inside the soft top, above each rear headrest. Only place to go from there is around to the clip. I also assumed it was like all other rear windows on a Wrangler that roll, but no way would I roll the rear window on a Gladiator to fit in these snaps.
The velcro are for the side, I believe the snaps are for the back but they honestly are not necessary. I use them cause I drive 85-90mph on interstate and it makes me feel better. It also makes it slightly less bulky when I take the top off and put it in the bed.
My clutch has started to make a noise everytime I go to shift. Sounds like the throwout bearing might be bad. It happens regardless of if I am shifting from gear to gear or am in neutral. Speed is not a factor. Anyone Run into this yet? I am at 2400 miles
Drove 275 miles up to Leadville CO and back hauling my pop up and a bunch of gear. Manual Sport S, averaged 19.1mpg roundtrip, 16.8mpg on the way up. Stop and go traffic for an hour and a half up hill, 6-7% grades ... almost wish I had an automatic for that. Took the Gladiator off road up...
Someone else sent me this photo when I was looking. I believe you need 8 of the bolts and 16 of the nuts. I added washers for each as some of the holes are a little larger.
Initially I kept mine behind the rear seat with a blanket over it. Once I got my tonneau cover, I keep it flat on a blanket in the bed along with the soft top. I put the side panels under the rear seat. Hoping they come out with the storage bag soon.
I have a Sport S and finally got the trail rail system delivered today. I went to install it and struggled to get the screws into the holes (go ahead with the wife jokes, I’ll wait).
I have a spray-in bedliner from Line-X, not a factory liner. I tried widening the holes, but that didn’t...
Despite the responses here, some of us agree with you. I’ve seen around 10 Gladiators now, not a single one had top off or even windows down. I don’t get it either. I’ve had mine 6 weeks now and I bet the top has been closed 1 week. I bought a soft top because hard tops are a pain in the...
I voted dorky because it is. You know what else is, the soft top in sunrider position, it looks terrible. That being said, I put my soft top back as often as I can because that’s why I bought a Gladiator and not something else. I also have two kids in booster seats that love riding in the...
I would make a 3 day weekend, love Red Feather and Dowdy Lake (we kayak too). Looked like nice collection of some fairly easy trails with Deadman, Sand Creek, Old Flowers, and Greer Road.
Just checked it out in my FunTreks trail book, will definitely go next summer when up at Red Feather. We’re south of Denver, so most of my knowledge is south of I-70. Looks like most difficult part is first mile so I should know pretty quickly if I will have any issues with the ledge.
The one...
I installed mine today ... embarrassed how long it took me. I could not get it to click in place, finally realized the rails were slightly too far apart. Now I finally have someplace to put my soft top and window that is protected. Golf clubs will be next.
I'm waiting for the Retrax or UnderCover Ridgelander ... amazes me no one has come out with one yet. I bought a $147 MaxxMate in the meantime to hold me over, not going to spend $950 on a Mopar that I hopefully won't need in a few months.
