Haven't read the whole thread, but with tailgate down, my wife just loads the two 10 footers in the back of the bed and lets em hang out over the tailgate. She puts a flag on em, but personally I wouldn't bother. They are tied down with tie downs in the bed. No problems, but she's not driving...
Glad to hear that!! What Ins. Co are you with? We just had a totaled classic truck with Liberty Mutual, and the experience was horrific. Immediately switched to State Farm. Hoping it will be better.
I'll be watching this thread. I'm in the same boat - Warn steel bumper and Warn winch incoming for my new Rubicon. 33's on currently as well. Going up to 35's soon. Or maybe I'll make the jump to 37's, but if I do that there will be a lift involved. Thinking the Terraflex might be good...
"Personalized"!!! Haha! I like it!! LOL I've done both on 2 wheels, but not on 4 (yet). Glad you had a good time!! I love Big Bear for the secret trails (at least for m/c's).
I'm pretty sure those are the same pitch/thread that hold the bed rails in. The bed rail threads are 6mmx1.0. I've got mine covered up right now, but if they are the same as right under the top of the bed rail, that's the size.
Teraflex Uinta here as well. Very happy with it. Beefy and sturdy!

Yup. Iv'e had mice, ground squirrels, and even rabbits up under the hood.
Mice are hard. I've had to have bits and pieces of our Avalon's wiring harness replaced 5 times in the last 3 years. Cost $$$$$$$$$!!!!!!! Nothing keeps mice away if they decide they like what they taste. And they...
I'll gladly put 2 250lb Husky/KTM's in the back - maybe pushing up over 500 just a tad, but 1200 lbs would leave me very nervous. Never tried that, but then again, I don't think you could convince me TO try it. Good luck with whatever you decide!
I'm kinda in the same boat. Went down every winch rabbit hole I could find. Ended up buying what Summit 4X4 advised me to do : Warn Evo 10k. A little more $$, and a lot more peace of mind..... Now I'm awaiting a front bumper to put it on. :) Sorry, know nothing about the amazon one you linked.
I was right with you on the Silver. The dealer had silver and black and white only. The white didn't wow me, and the black looked filthy after a recent sprinkle rain. So we chose Silver. Ended up loving it. Very happy at this point in time. Very easy to keep it looking nice in the...
Beat me to it. Exactly what I was thinking.
Congrats on the new truck! ENJOY!!! I used to ride Frasier all the time on my dirt bikes. You should ROCK the snow next winter in your rig, and I'm sure you'll have a great time on the trails up there! Cheers,
You don't have to be going 100 for this to happen. That was just an example. So much of these vehicles are held together by plastic push pins - not nuts and bolts. Check under your R fender flares to make sure they are all secured. That's what I was suggesting.
^^^^. That! I had a similar issue with an Infiniti FX35 that I bought. Didn't start to "rattle / thump" until it got up to around 100mph. (don't ask me how I knew that).:LOL:
My son found it quick. A few of the press in clips had either been robbed for elsewhere or fallen out. Check...
BTW - just saw that Morrflate just dropped a new version of this compressor where you can set the PSI right on the compressor itself, hook up your 4 tire hose kit, turn it on and forget about it. It will fill all tires to the exact specified PSI. Pretty cool.
