So latest update from JeepChat just now for me is ETA to Gupton of 10/21-10/25. That is the smallest delivery window I have received so far. So hears to hoping it is more accurate.

Man, I will take some Rubicon take offs to put on my Sport that I am picking up if they would allow it. I don’t need them to mount them, just let me take them off of their hands.

I spent a while looking into this for the DFW area. I think the answer is some will offer you a slight discount, but nothing close to Gupton. If you want to order one, just go with Gupton. I did. Right now, a one way flight from DFW to Nashville on a Thursday is as low as $50.

Didn’t know he was on vacation. That is helpful. I emailed him today, but no response yet. I have the same ETA, so hopefully ours are on the next truck. When I pressed Jeep chat today, they claimed it showed as having shipped on 10/8.

Does Gorilla glass require getting sent out? I assumed they just installed it when they would do normal glass. I got the gorilla glass and JeepChat mentioned mine being sent after inspection for “more equipment to be installed.”

Avis auto sales does this, in the Dallas, Texas area at least. When I looked last month, they had Gladiators you could do that with. It is essentially a car rental though. If you like it, you can buy it and they credit the rental cost to your down payment.

I also ordered gorilla glass. Sounds like maybe a run of similar Sport S with Max Tow is being scheduled.
