  1. Keeping dealer warranty when self-installing parts

Thanks for the response! I assume that when buying tires/having them installed at a shop it comes with alignment anyways. Might as well just put the level on myself first.
  2. Keeping dealer warranty when self-installing parts

Hey guys. Been asking a lot of questions lately. This place is a great resource for a newbie. I am looking into getting the 1.5” teraflex level kit for my sport s and I have a friend with a lift that would make it easy to install myself. Couple of questions: Would doing so put me in jeopardy...
  3. 285/70r17s on stock wheels and no lift? (sport s)

Thanks everyone. I guess the consensus is they will fit no problem. I guess the follow up would be how large can I go with the stock wheels and have no scrubbing?
  4. 285/70r17s on stock wheels and no lift? (sport s)

Hey guys. Title pretty much says it all. Looking at the above size tire for my Sport S. No plans to lift right now, although may put a stubby bumper on in the future. Is there any problem width wise (or otherwise) putting them on the stock wheels to save the money? I like the look of the black...
  5. When do you have your doors on/off?

I have the mopar cover, but leaving it out like that in the rain makes me nervous
  6. When do you have your doors on/off?

I wish I had a garage. Would be so much easier to leave doors off for days on end
  7. When do you have your doors on/off?

I love having the doors off. Taking them off and acrefully leaning them against the wall is a process though that sometimes life doesn’t give you time for. Especially if you are pulling the hard top off too.
  8. How does BLD work? How do I actuate it?

This helps so much. Thank you!
  9. How does BLD work? How do I actuate it?

Hey guys. Beginner question I know. I have a Sport S and have been reading about features it has like Selec Trac and BLD. I have yet to find a good guide explaining how these things work and when/how to use them. Could anyone point me to a beginner’s guide? Thank you!!
  10. Nobody waves anymore.

I don’t wave to red Rubicons with spartan helmets.
  11. Nobody waves anymore.

Gonna quote/repost my comment from the “do you even wheel” thread here because it seems relevant. “I’m a brand new first time Jeep owner and was a little excited about the whole “wave” thing. (Silly, I know). Don’t have the budget yet for tires and a level that I want, as I said above. I’ve...
  12. Do you even wheel ?

They’re just jealous that I don’t have to put bales of pinestraw in my back seat.
  13. Do you even wheel ?

I’m a brand new first time Jeep owner and was a little excited about the whole “wave” thing. (Silly, I know). Don’t have the budget yet for tires and a level that I want, as I said above. I’ve noticed that some people reciprocate the wave, but others will give you a “look.” I assume that it’s...
  14. Do you even wheel ?

I’ve only had my gladiator Sport for a couple weeks. I don’t currently have the budget for tires or a level kit that I plan to get in the future. I’ve already taken it on a couple mild trails and a less mild but short hill climb. I plan to enjoy it’s capabilities, but do it responsibly. You...
  15. Brand new owner!

Got to do a lot of driving in the mountains this weekend with the Gladiator. The transmission was incredible. Also got to very briefly test out the 4x4 on a hill that I would have deemed impassable in my old truck. Was expecting at least some tire spin or something but the gladiator crawled up...
  16. IDEA THREAD: Mods on a tight budget

Forgot to show the weather stripping. Fits in the box like it was made for it!
  17. IDEA THREAD: Mods on a tight budget

Here is my 40 dollar weather resistant bed storage option. Home depot has these boxes for 35 ish and the weather seal was 5 or 6 bucks on amazon. Sits nicely in the wheel well with my 5 gallon milspec gas gan and my traction boards. In the box I have: - Mopar cover - Bolt on mirrors - shovel -...
  18. Water-resistant bed storage on a budget!

On your suggestion, I will toss a bike lock on it to prevent thieves of opportunity. Won’t stop someone with bolt cutters but better than nothing.
