Yeah, i went on the highway across town and before i got off the mirrors went turned all the way back from the wind/vibrations. i tightened as much as comfortably possible, the tubes are a lil squeezed in now bc of how much i tried to control the shaking.
story til now has great footage and production, i just hate that everything is described as 'epic', stopped watching it a year ago. things might've changed, dunno.
trailrecon is informative but gives me ned flanders vibes
lite brite is too much
waya1ife is ok...
driving line isn't bad
ronny...
how easy and quick is it to take off/put on? i bought one recently but haven't used it yet bc i'm unsure if i will have the time to take it off in the morning before work.
do you put it on every night and take it off in the morning?
i suppose if it's raining it would still suck driving it...
i pretend to forget something, look back, and then reach in my pocket or make a visible "oh there it is on me" face. i'll even add a light chuckle sometimes to sell it. or the look back to lock even though i locked it when getting out
to keep it simple for me, i just hooked them to two different aux switches and keep the one with halos on. my skills are very limited so hooking them up to DRLs is a great option but i need to more knowledge on that.
the bolt is pretty long and the clearance is minimal, i either had just...
took my doors off tuesday and have been off since. i use these from kikbax mirrors now that have a door step too, i love things with more than one function. the metal is strong and mirrors don't rattle much. i fear that they get stolen though.
i had lange coyote mirrors that were connected by...
jeep cares is helping with my dealership with this issue. my wife won't drive it on the highway after the first time. i don't think it's too bad, but i am probably used to it. there is no death wobble but a frim grip and total concentration is often needed. i was told that they would have the...
maybe it's just me but trading in a gladiator for a diesel wrangler and then getting a ram also is backwards thinking for me, since there is a diesel gladiator. it doesn't seem like he rock crawls heavily, which would be the only sense for getting a wrangler.
not my money though, just doesn't...
good idea, i don't see it being an issue.
it would look cleaner for you painted black, plastidip alone wouldn't hold up to the potential scrapes and scratches as mentioned above.
i wonder if lineX would be a smart investment, not sure how durable it for underbody wheeling
now i also wonder...
after watching for other options in the year i've had my JT, i think the DB HD is still the one i will choose. i had the SE on my ridgeline and enjoyed it. my biggest gripe would be that it wasn't quick to take it off, store, and reinstall...especially alone. i never took it off much, partly...
can't run it without the rear in place, from what i've read. Less than 10 minutes is what it should take to remove it before going for the rear top though
ride on the highway with the top down into a storm WITHOUT the bestop....you're gonna have a bad time. Imagine pulling over, running out back, rolling tonneau cover, getting correct side of freedom panel located, installing it, doing the other side, closing the bed up and getting back in. Guess...
email them if one falls off and you run it over like i did. they said a fix was coming, i haven't checked on that. i used flex tape on my replacements and so far so good.
i enjoy mine, though i cross threaded a bolt and have yet to address it other than not think about it lol
