Newnan here, 2022 Mojave in Sarge Green. I see a few Gladiators around town. Had a white 4Runner before, every other SUV in Newnan seemed like it was a white Runner. Happy to be standing out in the crowd for a change.
Georgia to South Florida, 650 miles each way. We’ve made the trip twice, both times towing our boat (3000 lbs). Very comfortable, more so than our previous vehicle a 4Runner SR5 Premium.
Since I haven’t had an issue since the FL trip, was wondering if I should go ahead bring it by the dealership here? Not sure what they could do since I haven’t had another CEL yet.

I know there’s a love/hate with these things, but I like them. I ordered 2 colors, “Black” and “Flashing CEL Orange”. I think I’ll start out with the orange, it will contrast nice with the Sarge agree. I’ll post finished photos of the install.
Just made it back home (650 miles). No issues or CEL’s. Once again the Gladiator proved it a great towing platform. Averaged 13.8 mpg. I’ll keep you updated on the CEL issue, I’m sure it will be back.
On this trip to FL I averaged 13.9 mpg. Pretty much kept it at 65mph all the way. We ran into a stretch of extremely heavy rain for over an hour. That dropped the average down. My boat is only 3000lbs fully loaded.
one of the interesting things that I’ve had happen is under heavy acceleration it will get to 3k or sometimes 4K and it appears not to want to shift. If I let off the gas it will shift down to about 2k and stay there til about 70 mph. Usually that only happens when towing my boat. I try to keep...
