Have you started the install yet? I just bought the VX800/8i and about to get the VX1000/5i. Running the 800 on the front and 4 channels of the 1000 to the soundbar and 600w to the sub. Running C7 components for the front(1", 3.5" and 6.5") and soundbar(1" and 6.5").

I was doing the same thing, putting together the parts in my head for what I wanted for sound. Sucks to hear about the cancellations!

Got 1k on mine now. Getting around 15.2 as an average. I traded a GTR for it. I find myself driving it like it is a GTR, would assume if I eased back a little it would do better.
